I agree, I'd rather have a sub out & more inputs than have balanced inputs. Btw...love the channel, VERY funny & entertaining! Watching from Ohio. 🤘🏻

Rotel winner, more pronounced bass, deeper sound stage, more dynamic sound at all.

Another good video. Quick question does the Class D amp need any burn in?

Some people think not but I believe they do need some burn in, the caps especially.

"A" sounded clearer and more detailed, not massively, but significantly. Headphones used. The space taken up by the superfluous balanced sockets would be better used to add more RCA inputs with a rotary selection switch in place of the toggle on the front.

Rotel is the winner in this test. No doubt.

A/Rotel is definitely more alive... I'd be curious to try the Douk Audio with the upgraded power supply (48V 5A or 10A) supposedly it comes alive with the upgraded PWR supply?

I wouldn’t have thought to try drying a towel on the TV.

It's a huge fire hazard but dries towels brilliantly! Actually, the TV can cause unwanted reflections in the sound test so the blanket helps to alleviate that.

Better more inputs than balanced ones. I spot a casettedeck.....

Rotel definitely sounds better to me. The bass is a bit more solid, but the piano sounded much more lively and present than the Douk.

Now, I heard a difference in this sound test that wasn't slight at all. The Rotel is much superior in every aspect. Overall, the Douk sounds a bit lifeless, two dimensional and anemic compared to Rotel. I am not saying it is bad, but the difference is significant...

Well. If I'd bought the Douk I'd be disappointed. The 20yr old Rotel sounds far crisper.

It seems that Douk are copying the format and success of the Fosi amps. As these small Chinese amps are for nearfield listening, there seems no point having balanced connections on the back. It would have been better if they have more RCA connections, turning the amp in to a mini integrated. However, the Douk Audio H7 PRO looks good with improved materials used. I am suspicious of audio manufacturers who add PRO to the end of their products.

Th Douk seemed a bit lifeless and mid range recessed- the bass difference is there but that's preference based, could go either way. Needless to say i prefer the Rotel. the Fosi ZA3 sounded better by the way than the DOUK.

Easy test. A is better. The difference is more evident at 4K / AAC 192kbps.

Oooph, that Rotel has some low end wallop coming through my MAB200s! Rotel has better bass, much better. Everything else not a great deal of difference.

First time ever I dissagree with you, woooooooooo . I thought the rotel was night and day better. If this was a fight in the play ground, the Rotel Punched the Douk in to the weeds, stole it's lunch money and called the Douk's mum names. to be fair it might be the you tube compression factor. For the money the Douk aint bad and it looks nice, but that Rotel was at the upper end of budget back in the day. Love the videos though keep erm comming. On the balanced vs rca inputs, i doubt very much that they are true unbalanced connections any how, probaly sudo balanced not true balanced connections. Even some quite more costly stuff does not have true Balanced. I am with you re how much differnce they make, I have an old Cambridge audio 840 A amp and matching cd player, they have balanced and unbalanced connections, and comparing the two the balanced has slightly better background noise suppression if your sitting an ich away from the speakers. However sit 4 feet away and you cant tell the differnce
