@@willpomeroy7711 Big difference between a coach's show (where you talk about your program) and a national show where you talk about all of the sports, including the politics around sports. It'll be interesting to see how he can pull off his HCing duties, including the Green Bay Coaches Show, while also doing his own sports show.

I will be very curious to see how he will do his radio show while doling out to his assistants some of the key coaching decisions during the week. You also have to take into account the travel in the Horizon League, and especially during the non-conference portion in November and December. Speaking as a loyal fan of the sport, he will definitely have his work cut out for him. But with NIL and getting the right mix of players, who knows what might happen? At the end, every coach is judged by wins and losses. And if UWGB reaches the NCAA Tournament, what a story that would be in a one-bid league.

How does a guy who covers and played college basketball not understand the massive time commitment it takes to be a college HC. You should be in the office (or out recruiting) from 7AM to 9PM, 7 days a week. This dude hasn't thought out any of this. It's insane.

I am sure his assistants will be very capable to handle more than just the X's and O's. Again, I am interested in what he will be doing in the NIL sphere, but how will he translate to wins in the Horizon League. Like many mid-majors, it is a one-bid league. Thanks to the Power 4, at-large bids are going to very difficult to come by--that is if and only if the NCAA Tournament expands to either 72 or 76 teams.

I don’t think he’s gonna make it as a head coach. He’s not tactful enough and doesn’t always see the big picture. What really was a turn off was when he told Rob Parker on his show that there was zero racism in NFL head coach hires because it wasn’t “logical.” That’s the kind of BS he comes up with sometimes. I don’t think it’s gonna fly. And I’m not a cancel culture PC guy at all but to tell a black man to his face there’s been zero racism in NFL hires because it’s not logical. Clown move.
