    putting 2pcs. for compression bars towards the minimum 0.71pc.the beam will act more compressed and the point for n. a will adjust from its original axis

    As2.fy.(d-65)=M2 😐? or As'.fs.(d-65)=M2 ?..pwede ba..😐 or yong computed location ng epsilon prime from strain diagram.😐

    Tanong kulang sir bakit po tumaas ang value ng M1 pagmababa ang grade ng steel ang gagamitin? Yung grade 40 which is 276Mpa.

    since na maliit lng ang area of steel sa top bar nasa 60sq.mm lng pwedi ba gamitan ng 12 mm bar at as-ease lng ang bottom bar na 25mm?

    sir when you do the equation AsFy = M2. to compute for As2. You used M2 unit at N, hence As=M/fy, therefore As unit is mm2 per computation. but normally M is N.mm. Substituting As=N.mm/(N/mm2); As= mm3. which unit is for volume not area.I appreciate so much if you can clarify it to avoid confusion. thanks...

    new supporter po ako sa channel nyo sir ganda explaination nyo salamat. may itatanong lang po sana ako kung pwede. nag design ksi ako sa staad pagkatapos ang resulta ay magkapareho ang bakal sa taas(3-12mm) at sa baba(3-12mm). sa analysis ko po magiging zero yung compression sa concrete stress block(a) at magiging walang silbi yung concrete sa beam tama po ba? ok po ba ang ganitong design may ganito po ba? konti pa lang po kasi nalalaman ko sa rc sir ill continue supporting your channel po

    I dont normally compute it, in reality we just use excess bars from your main, that will be your clear space

    Engineer ask ko lng po kung saan safe na location sa beam kung saan safe na paglagyan ng pipe para sa Sink.. yung beam ay may sukat na Depth 45CM tapos width na 30cm salamat po sa sago..

    As much as possible iwasan natin mag lagay ng pipe accross beam, but kung hindi maiwasan e-oversize ninyo yung beam (on that part) to replace the displaced concrete. Neutral axis maybe the best location. In addition, pipe sleeves welded with extra bars are the proper way of doing it. thanks

    Actually there is no standard in designating structural members, we normally abbreviate words to shorten "figure display". In other words. it is up to the designer on how they want to call it, that is why we provided legend in order to avoid confusions. Thanks

    After finalizing our design we should always add concrete cover to get "h". 50mm for single layer, or 65mm if you are anticipating double layer. Thanks

    Sir just for reference sa E which is modulus of elasticity. Beacause you used 200GPA for fy=400mpa . How about if 275 MPA is used, what's the modulus of elasticity. Because what if in the local market 275MPA is only available. Thanks..

    Actually it varies depend on steel grade. But to simply your calculation you can assume 200GPA for all steel grade. Thanks

    @@jsdesign_engineeringtv3633 Beiing a structural designer in the Phils. What steel yield strength ( Fy )and conc compresive strength (f'c )did you usually use (which is available in the market) in your RC design. Because I want to design but Im skeptical what values to use that is available in the construction supplies.

    @@jackpat5643 Both rebar grades are available in the market, I suggest if you use 21mpa conc., use fy276, for 28 and above conc. use fy400. Thanks
