Hi Kelly! So glad you are feeling better! I’m looking forward to this class. I’ve done the rigid heddle one, but have the Ashford 32/8 shaft table loom now. I have no idea how to do anything other than plain weave on double width, so this is exciting! 🤣

I bought a Wolf Pup for $350.00 from a lady that owned 6 looms. I knew it was a GREAT deal! But I only have had table looms. So I am CLUELESS on setting it up, parts, pettles, reeds ect..I don't know anything about this amazing loom I would love to work on. There are not any videos on how to set up the loom for a project. I have read books but I'm a visual learner. Could you do a floor loom for dummies so to speak? I would LOVE to use my floor loom. My biggest complaint with my table loom is it's not always big enough for the project I want to make. You are a master loomer often finding answers us regularly guys can't conceive of. Can you point me in a way where I can find informative video? Or have you ever thought about a video for new beginner's on the floor loom? Start to finish project? Thank you! Your work is amazing!!💐❤❤

I have a beginners floor loom class available, though it is filmed on my Louet David, which is a little different to your Wolf. I have a feeling that Janet Dawson's floor loom class is filmed on a Schacht Wolf, you may be interested in checking that out- www.craftsy.com/class/floor-loom-weaving/

Hi, Kelly. I’m interested in this class & just signed up for the newsletter! I have practiced with double weave but would like to learn more (outside a book). My input/question... I have read that to make the fold lay nicer, you’d remove a warp thread. Is that “tip” for certain patterns?

I have done that with plain weave double width, but for an actual pattern it would likely change the look, so I don't do it for 8 shaft double width weaving.

I have the chance to but a 8 shaft table loom but it doesn’t have a stand or I can but a ridged heddle loom with a stand. This is my first loom and I want to weave blankets and double the width, which should I buy?

What size reed will I need for the course? Right now, I only have an 8 dent reed on my floor loom.

I have a 10 dent on this loom, but you can use any sized reed by using a reed substitution chart 😊

This may sound like a daft question but I'm embarking on having a go at double weave , on my 8 shaft countermarche louet spring loom , on the tye up im not quite sure, I've ive tried to join your lesson but it comes up blank,

A countermarch tie up is different because all shafts are tied. I don't cover countermarch tie up specifically in the lesson. Have you done tie ups on this loom before?
