    That is now the clearest and best video I've seen you produce and post, since I first came here. It also introduced the "intention" and "without intention" facets of the drill. Thanks, for doing this - it removed my confusion about how one drill had begun to too closely resemble another drill. Confusion sorted...thanks!

    Interesting, sometimes I mix both together unintentionally because they are similar. Sometimes I slip from the heaven 6 to the redondo 6 when I'm not looking, and other times I slip from redondo to heaven.

    Is heaven six done with broken strikes or fluid for strikes 1 and 2? I've seen both done and just curious as to which is correct

    how to you do this "take the attention out - chain", this is really fast i can not see the movement!?

  • @theoretickle2084

    @theoretickle2084

    "...take the intention out..." The difference between form being practised as a series of intended blows, with targets...and, the general 'artistic' flow, involving the same moves, but without imagining targets are in the way. In the same way people practise punches and kicks without intention, right away from them, into the air around them...and, at other times, they practise the punches and kicks with full intention of hitting targets, during sparring, or on a punching bag. Without intention = without specific impacts on any targets in mind, and they are for gaining greater control and co-ordination skills, improving the hand/eye/brain responses: think of them as "...intention = blows", and "...without intention = flows". Another way to look at it is: "intention = imagining the hitting of targets" and "...without intention" as passing through targets, as if they weren't there, aiming for smooth flow control.

    Hey man. I just watched one of your knife fighting videos but that was for single handed fighting. I'm more of a Duel wielding (Double knives) type of person when it comes to knives so do you think that you could create a knife fighting video using duel wielding?

    @@reyanit735 Not a problem. The part that you're working on is a very similar motion to what was being done earlier with the Redondo 6, except it's being made smaller using the wrists. I don't know the nuances because I'm just learning too, but I hope it helps.

    They need to lose weight , so they can be able to move faster. They look really slow

  • @adamszabo6696
    @adamszabo66963 жыл бұрын

    No offense but I think you're using your forearm and wrist too much. Shouldn't you let the whole movement flow through your whole body? Use your core and back more? Maybe I just don't see it in the video.
