Double Snake walking Stick #47
CARVED RATTLESNAKE AND KING SNAKE WALKING STICK
This was one of the most challenging walking sticks I've carved so far. With a rattlesnake carved in a striking position at the top and a king snake chasing the diamondback up the stick, it took a lot of time and thought. This walking stick was carved entirely from one piece of Lodgepole Pine.

+Wyack Mordu Thank you for the nice comment! I'm really glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Wayne I have always enjoyed making things out of wood but never on your level. Although I have been watching you tube for years this is the first time I have made a comment. You take wood carving to a whole other level and I can't stop watching your vids. Also I adore Pearl.
I really enjoy watching you do those sticks. I am originally from Oregon, Born and raised. I miss home something fierce. I want to start carving like you are doing, but with different ideas in my head. I do not have a lot of money to start but I got my saw, and my carving tools are coming. I hope I can be as good as you. Do me a favor and breath some Oregon air for me, especially after the rain. I will be home soon. I hope. Rev. Russell J. Young US Navy Veteran.
As a fellow craftsman I applaud your skill, patience & attention to detail. Carving is so peaceful. Carving snakes are just awesome. I've made a few but none at this level. True inspiration & admiration is gained from your craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing as I'm off to practice my carving technique!

+Construct Icon Well, thank you very much! I really do enjoy carving something out of nothing. I'm always pushing myself to go further with it but I think I almost went too far with this project! LOL Keep on practicing!
Fantastic artistry and craftsmanship. Absolutely stunning work. Afraid it's a dying art.
These videos make me feel at home, the wildlife and music. I just close my eyes and think about sitting at home in the country, just me, my dog, and my guitar. It’s sweet and peaceful. Makes me want to cry honestly

Ur attention to dealing is stunning..it’s cathartic for me, just watching u create...thank u sir..
Thank you kindly for your videos, they have inspired me to return to my love of wood carving after a 15 year hiatus. I already possess the chisels, bits, rasps and files needed but have never thought of using wood burning tools as a means of enhancing texture. You have a wonderful gift of creating beauty where others see nothing. May peace be with you always.

I would love to see your work translated onto a musical instrument or something like that. Like a guitar stand or guitar case that looks like it is covered in snakes. Snakes and country/rock music just go together so well. Love your channel. Your videos have a comforting yet adventurous style. I am jealous of your lifestyle.

Amazing work. Your videos, Sir, inspired me to try and see how carving wood works out for me. (I used to carve figurines out of soapstone, make tree trunk tables and small furniture out of small juniper trees). I want to try carving on a floor lamp that I made. I think I just carve a lizard at first and hope it works. Thank you so much for enriching KZread with your great work.

Well now I wish I did but we don't have one! The group meets on Mondays from 11-2 at a place called rockler wood supplies. The group is made up of experienced carvers and craftsmen who bring many various skills. On top of that, the main man Dan has been in woodcarving magazine quite a few times! You would be well appreciated.
