Rob's intuitive ability to almost instantly figure out how to play wierd instruments that he hasnt even touched before is astounding.

I'm not saying bring Jess into First of October but... she really compliments the wierd stuff you end up spitting out. Chemistry is great and the music reflects it every time.

@@dryued6874 because it's a challenge for just 2 people to record them. You add more people you are taking away the challange and it's that challange as artists for just them do everything in such short time. If that wasn't the case they would have involved others ages ago

@@llRoBoBinHoll Depends on how you tune, but usually it's very nice when everyone shuts up when you're tuning, whatever you tune. Tuning a bass from drop d to standard, by ear, while the drummer has their solo is very annoying for example lol.

Goddamit Jessica Burdeaux is just incredible ! There's no other word, the fills she can pull which sync up perfectly with the guitar is just insane ! And obv. Rob's killing it finding a way to use the instrument in a groovy way !
While Berklee is an amazing school and I don't mean to detract from it's credentials or that of any of it's graduates, Professors, etc... I think I'll pass on building a mountain of student debt from the comfort of my own home. Awesome video as always Rob!!! These crazy instruments are just fun to look at and then you actually playing and making music with them is just next level. Hats off to you sir!!!

Great stuff! Obviously going for the Primusy dark funk sound, but it might be interesting to have an open tuning on the guitar side, since it's difficult to do more than just barre the strings.

The drummer is great! I really liked the drums. For playing a square neck guitar thats a six string and a bass i was pretty suprised how got it all came out. Nice job yall!

Rob, I know this probably will be lost in all the comments, but I figured I should try to tell you anyways... I've been going on a trip down memory lane, listening to rain and for that second. it's really got me thinking about everything in my life. your music and really your channel has been such a great inspiration for me and I'm sure so many others..
