First track sounded like Primus… next homemade instruments project: neck through bass. (it would solve a bunch of the issues with glue and screws.)
Let's spend a minute thinking about poor Rob Ruccia's and the magic he had to work out to make this sound good.
7:41 this is totaly looking like a Primus wynona's big brown beaver's reference, lov'it !

I worked with her for awhile before she got big. She is legit one of the coolest people you could meet!
Now we all know how Primus made "Tommy the cat" Absolutely amazing
10:47 ooh ah-ah-ah-ah 😂 sorry I had to
that sawblade was very menacing, on every hit. also the triplet on e string djenting was kinda sick ngl, just needed a blast beat and a slaughterhouse in the background
Who else wants to see a series where Rob attempts to build a legit guitar? I'm betting the Shark 4 or 5 is gonna be playable quality.

Bolt on neck. Maybe even Michael Bolton
Kudos to the guy who got the close up back angle of the saw @ 7:52. He really would do everything for rob.
Those slide-frets sound pretty awesome, not gonna lie! They sound so metal and grungy when you pull the strings down them.
The "vs" in the title is exactly right, since you literally have to fight the instruments to play them, a constant struggle. It's poetic, really.
