Hey Rach and Wills, We wanted to sit and enjoy this one over a drink on Sunday night, so apologies for the late comment! 🙈. Have to say, think this is one of our favourite videos for a while, epic coastal views, castles, shepherds huts and story telling, all wrapped up in a typical postcard bundle of pure entertainment 🤩👍. Stonehenge is somewhere we would love to see, crikey it's not cheap though is it! You guys got a really bargain with the CADW membership👌. If we ever make it to Dorset, we will have to get the details of your shepherds hut, wow! Right up our street! And the view of the castle and morning deer visitors just made it even more chocolate box ❤ 🦌 🏰. What a stunning coastline 🌊❤. Wills your drone shots are excellent, Pete thinks Rach should have more faith 😂 (but then he says that about me whenever he flies ours too😂). Dinosaur footprints! Now that is VERY cool! Love the fact you could get right up to them too 🦕❤. We can't wait for your Enid Blyton vlog, i (Shell) grew up with her stories too, my late auntie use to read them with us as children, so that will be a special one ❤. Thanks so much guys. It was a jam packed 3 days, but just how we like it! Yes, give us a shout if you ever want the details for that shepherd hut. The bed was so comfy!! We highly recommend Dorset and the Isle of Purbeck. There's so much to see and it's amazing to be at the heart of Enid Blytons inspirations! Were looking forward to putting that one together too. I think I have to just suck it up and trust wills now, but every now and again he confuses down and up and gives me a heart attack!!! Cheers for your lovely comment and have the best week. 🍻

Yay for a road trip! Thank the CADW memberships for free entry to Stonehenge, it's incredible to experience but wowee it's pricy!! Loved the shot with the rainbow in the backdrop, magnificent! That cheese and ham looked yummy btw, nicely done! Love the village of Corfe, so quaint and so pretty. Mmm that pub grub looked incredible especially Will's Pie! Very much enjoyed watch Debs do a fly over the castle and village, so incredible! I like how much NT put on for the kids too, making a fun day at the castle. Loved listening to the history Rach! Great story too about your childhood, shame you couldn't find your camera hehe. So interesting about Enid Blyton, love the trail that you're doing too! Isn't Dorset just so beautiful?! What a stunning video, loved all the scenery and crikey stone henge has changed since 1974, we drove there at night and parked across the road , snuck in and while we were walking around our torch went out which frightened us so we headed back to the car.

Well done on getting into Stonehenge for free. We visited Dorset every summer for five years when the kids were young. It is such a beautiful county. Corfe is a stunning village and Durdle Door is one of my favourite places to visit. Thanks for reminding me how much I need to go back.

@PostcardAndAPint Me too, Rach. We stayed in Bournemouth a couple of times, but our favourite memories were caravan holidays at Wareham Forest Touring Park in my teens. Dorset left such an impression on me that when I met my Mrs, we took her and her 3 kids away for a camping holiday in Dorset - back to Wareham Forest. Good Times.

The only time I've ever been to Stonehenge was in 1995! I need to dig up the old photo album, but it looks like things have definitely changed since then! I'm pretty sure there wasn't a gift store! Thanks for the update! I would love to come back and visit Dorset. Happy Birthday! 🎂😀

I zoned out for a bit and the next thing I knew Rach was saying something was sticking up loud and proud and you loved it. So glad you had a nice birthday. The knob must've been a bonus then. I've always wanted to visit Stonehenge and the Jurassic coast so this is very very cool. It really cool to kick a rock over and see that it is a fossil. We've only done it once at a place called Cocklebiddy (settle) on the Nullarbor in the Outback. We went down Cocklebiddy cave, huge, and nearly every rock was a fossil. It was an amazing experience. Looking forward to your Enid vid. I noticed she died in 1968. There is something cool knowing that I shared the world with her for a couple of years. Dorset looks amazing. Hot cross bun gelato would make the drive worthwhile for sure. It would make a fab road trip for a bunch of antipodeans if we ever make it over there. Great stuff you two!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Corfe Castle was certainly sticking up loud and proud and that's not a euphemism! Man we need to come over to Oz, you have the best place names, we'd have a field day! Yep the Jurassic coast is pretty special and we will certainly be visiting again. Seems old Enid was very popular in Australia, but the Americans have never heard of her. Cheers for watching 🍻

That was a fabulous weekend trip! I had no idea that entering the Stonehenge site was so expensive! I've driven past it a few times but never gone in. Dorset and the villages you visited is everyone's dream of picture postcard Britain and I loved the shepherd's hut. I loved Enid Blyton's books, especially the Famous Five, I loved all the adventures the children had, so am looking forward to your Enid Blyton Trail video. (I also loved the Swallows and Amazon books, and have done the Lake District pilgrimage. I'm making myself sound ancient but my primary school library had very old books!)

Love the Greyhound and hope you got to see the castle from the beer garden of the Fox Inn. You can see Shakespeare on Brownsea later in the summer which is really fab. We didn't get to the fox this time. We did walk past it and thought it looked lovely. We did love the Greyhound! An outdoor production on Brownsea sounds magical! Another great vlog! Loved seeing Brownsea Island again! I went camping there with guides we had gale force winds, lost our toilet tent and had to sleep in our day clothes 😂 Durdle door a few years ago we dropped the keys at the beach and Kristian walked all the way back down and luckily found them! We love Dorset and try and go once a year!

Thanks. We reckon 40 mins or so to look at the actual stones, you can walk all around them but not inside, apart from special occasions. If you’re talking the bus from the visitor centre, that will add about another 5-10 mins each way, allow 30 mins or so each way. Maybe 20-30 mins or so in the museum and the huts, then however long you want to spend in the shop and cafe. Hope that helps. Cheers
