They probably have their very own robot camera for those commercials. It's probably 9x more expensive for no really obvious reason other than the Apple logo on it - in fact it probably has worse tech specs and a shittier camera than anything else on the market, as is tradition.

@@nacs Actually I was an Apple fanboy since the age of 5, only abandoning ship some 23 years later after repeatedly being disappointing by Apple lackluster, sub-par product releases year after year for probably a good 6 years or so. But good try! You can tell yourself everyone is just hating on Apple just because but I think it's time to just accept that your fandom won't pay off. They're not going to suddenly get better. Eventually you've just got to cut your losses there "bro".

I've always been fascinated with cool camera shots AND robot arms, this one is definitely higher end and insanely impressive. Vid just showed up in my recommended, you've got my sub!

This is hands down Marques' best video yet, when I saw the Insta sneak peak I instantly knew it was robotics. I've been looking into stuff like this for a while, the technology blueprint has been available for years e.g. robotic arms in motor manufacturing - Motorized Precision are using it differently in another epic way. As always, the software is gonna be where the money's at ;)

I don't think they can make it affordable for the average guy. The industrial robots are very expensive, they start from 30.000$ for the smallest one, then you have to learn to program them (they are programmed with manifacturer's specific language), e.g. the robot above is programmed with a laguage called KRL.

The robot in this video isn't running KRL(well, not meaningful amounts, just one file) - it's got the KUKA.RSI.XML package, which lets you stream realtime data and path corrections via Ethernet.

This is the dopest mkbhd video in the history of youtube

Reminds me of Mark Roberts or General Lift servo moco setups. Nice gear! Motion control has been an amazing tool since the 70s, the game remote is a nice addition.

Dinosaurs maybe got extinct because they created robots that took all of their jobs too. I am certain, that with good engineering, someone (or some company) can build (I know they already exist) a very practical filmographic robot, easily replacing a whole crew. Let.s not forget about automatic video editing based on neuronal networks and deep learning.
