Oof... nice cheese of the final room, that's clumsy trigger placement on our part. Zerking the cyb barefoot in nukage redeemed your previous missed swings, good stuff there! A speedrun path not taken: if you activate the shootable switch early on and jump through the secret teleporter you passed, you telefrag one of the three viles in the backroom and your reward is a much more hectic variant of clearing that section.

"Shoot rockets into the unknown, the screams of pain and death will tell you what is ahead" probably Peter or Decino.

"I'm not locked in here with you - you're locked in here with me!"

I have been playing this map pack, along with the D4T mod at work and my coworkers have been having a blast watching me play.

I love the color pallet in this one.

6:25 decino didn't have to go that hard, but he did for us.

Just the beginning breaks the "rule" of not leaving any demon behind before moving beyond. 2:20 mad caco became even more mad because Decino 3d partied and stole a frag. 6:25 a tier video for punch killing monsters? Who would have guessed DooR found the its way back at 7:25 12:45 life lessons no one should ever forget. Specially to not thwart owns dreams. 15:53 while most of the times foes will attack very quickly, this revenant's short lived role makes me think why it does sometimes happen monsters decide to walk/move around instead of directly attacking, specially in the first seconds. This deserves some cacowards as well. Any future video with this wad's developers?

Man. That is a hard map for sure but I like the structure of it. BTSX ep.1 maps are all very well thought out and designed. Music is also top notch again. The way you punched the Cyber out was just awesome. Internalised pattern combined with lightning reactions. Loved the music, loved the 100% items (a rare Decino feat). Just have a sad thought when I think of the rockets that were sent to the unknown, never to come back.

It's good to have a break to see what's new in the channel. What a tough fight you had with Cyberdemon, well I think that fists are better than using bad language. Aalthough to me, the second option has worked much better than the first one on many occasions.

This map pack blows my mind in terms of level design, specially from map10 onwards, that's where I feel things really stepped up in quality. Anyway, finished my save of map18, started map19. Holy mother of god. Pistol start on map19, that was an experience, what a joy of a map to play. The true definition of the word "Doom". Wow... Now going to try that same map without save/load

@@decino Thank you, Decino. In Doom I when we first encounter the Cyberdemon, Tower of Babel, the object is in his right hand. Of course, it's not inconceivable that I've been hallucinating for all these years.

Chocolate Doom is probably the closest to doom.exe, it even includes all of the bugs!

Hajo Berends is correct, Chocolate Doom mimics .EXE behaviour exaclty, including its dysfunctional side. Meanwhile, Crispy Doom and PrBoom+ are still extremely accurate mechanically, and on top of that they won't prank you. What if the story of DooM 1 was based on saturn and not mars And DooM 2016 was based on mars Edited to say great vid

It is particularly visible at about 6:15.

It seemed odd that when you were at 17 health after killing the cyberdemon and 2 shotgunners shot at you but only 2 damage per shot was brought up for both.

Nothing planned yet. From what I've heard there's no -fast support for Doom 64, so I'm afraid it will be too easy.

True, original Doom 64 doesn't have fast enemies, it has 4 difficulties and the hardest is like Ultra Violence with a higher damage deal by enemies, iirc. It may be compensated by the fact that a few enemies are stronger than in vanilla Doom.

@@decino Hello decino. I saw a stream where AltimaMantoid played DooM 64 retribution on watch me die! which is the third hardest difficulty of the game in one go in 8 hours (stream length ). He know the game very good but even for him it was hard from the second half of the game. It's no walk in the park baby.😉😀

First, ya drop down, grab the shotgun *wuback!* then you just kill that chaingunner said *BAAAAAH* after that, you go up to the cyberdemon and just get pitted, so pitted like that

I searched a bit for one secret and three monsters and I gave up. That's why I'm here now. EDIT:Never mind, it is a half success because I looked for the video up but didn't listen to the shootable switch so I found out by myself.

Fast and strategic.

I hate this map and I really can't believe this is a Skillsaw map... As soon as I finished my Max run, I don't want to touch this map again.

This really doesn't seem all that bad for a co-op map pack. Seems a little too easy for more than one person if you ask me.

Can you do a video on the ligistics of doom and doom 2 like how the game calculates if a projectile actually hits an enemy, how it knows if let’s say the monster is below you and the floor you’re standing on is in the way or how high above you a monster can be to shoot at it etc.

You can farm this video for decino's brain farts -Has plenty of shotgun ammo > tries punching the CD and gets his face blown -still with plenty of ammo > risks punching the HK and gets half of his health taken along the armor What is this ?!

i didn't like this map at all. i had to put the game down for weeks at a time to slog through it. just a little too much backtracking, too many drops into huge battles, and cheesy enemy placement for me.
