So as of recently I found myself out of action due to significant body injuries sustained to both arms, which put me out of audio action for over a month, however I'm back and cracking on, Today we back to the tactical Doom mod FEET ON THE GROUND a WIP mod where by you have various classes to choose from with respective weapons, the mod contains elements for healing, weapon management, weight carrying, repairing of firearms and more, it is still work in progress but already it feels great to play.
Many changes have been made to the audio since the last update, new layers have been added to all weapon reloading audio, more bits and pieces to give the guns life and weight to them, this further extends to the discharges, changes to the code allow the guns now to sound more life like while still retaining that punchy feeling.
Further tweaks to the code give each gun muzzle flash light so when fired in dark spaces they will illuminate both the weapon it self and any thing in close proximity and the last bit codded in was spent casing ejections fired out of the gun, these were missing and so I decided to add them in myself, some weapons have a little quirk cause of code but over all it adds to the weapons themselves.
All 36 weapons have new audio included new explosive audio as well. This slog has taken about I'd say 6 months of work to complete as every piece of audio as made for each gun to fit.
I will be also doing a series with this mod and the new Lost in Darkness update in a bodycam style kind footage gameplay, if you would like or be interested to watch that kind of thing let me know and leave feet back as always.
