Another update to the work in progress tactical weapons mod for Doom, been working adamantly on getting new stuff and or balancing weapons in the mod this along with of course more work on audio is really bringing things together.
So with the edition of the MP5SD and the FN Fal, two more weapons now join the ranks to round out the arsenal, the M24 bolt action sniper replaces the old XM500 anti material due to the fact that the semi auto 50cal was just to powerful, the M24 fires the same 7.62mm round but at a higher velocity then the FAL giving you a good long range option the second weapon is the return of the Plasma rifle a chunky prototype gun firing balls of green energy, the weapon generates no real recoil has a large magazine of 50 rounds but is prone to over heating quickly and is kind chunky to lug around, this rounds off the 15 weapons for the mod.
Further refinements to audio have also been done, explosions got some new love with over distance, new ambient audio for that creepy sensation, new Noise layers for gun shots so they have extra kick and a full set of new sounds for the new weapons, doors, lifts and buttons some more industrial ruggered and aged sounding feel to them to better fit the derelict vibe of the mod
Given its October I feel now is a great time to show more of the mod as it aims towards spooky atmosphere, so back to E1M1 we go, with a twist a revised version of it and more maps to follow enjoy

The weapon sprits are so awesome. And i like the health system for every part in the body
This is looking amazeballs. I think I might be in love. Everything is scary, dread inducing, full of anxiety, killer sound design, and the atmosphere is palpable. I can’t wait to escape with this. All four Doom 1 Episodes and Doom II redone in this manner would be the best survival horror experience of all time. I’d pay $100 for an experience like that on the PC and to have it ported to something like the PS4 would be the icing on top. Crazy good work, everyone involved needs to be extremely proud of their work… because this is obviously a true labor of love on full display. Lock and Load, marines.

Thank you, for now its just me working on this, didn't make the map pack just thought it gelled well with the theme, the audio and gameplay chances along with new sprites is where I come in, Audio designer trying to teach myself Gzdoom stuff and this mod is like a bridge between run and gun and Hideous destructor tactical, you take on the role of a lone survivor, no spec ops badass, no demi god, you just a random schmuck as a survivor, clambering what ever he can get his hands on to survive against the demons.
is this going to be compatible with "Immerse"? For those wondering, Immerse is that one camera mod that combines the power of Tilt++ and other two mods I forgot.

Yep, works with immerse, camera tilt and sway mod, you see it in the gameplay.
