I have been messing with this Doom 3 quest mod, it's pretty good! I'm running at 80hz, with no shadows, it runs well however it has alot of shimmer it's as if ss and mssa are not doing anything even maxed out. I tried raising the render res in games optimizer too about 2k (it is at 1772 with no adjustments) but that tanks performance as causes the menu to be too large and close to your face. Overall it's a remarkable mod and a decent way to play thru the game but I will stick with my fully posessed pcvr mod with hidef textures which looks incredible with no compromises

Loved the doom games, right back to the amiga 500 days. Got to get this, thanks Mac for the vid and the instructions at the end.

Had this a few weeks now and agree with you on how brilliant it is. Wish you had this out back then as it is so clear and to the point on making it work, thanks. Well worth the few quid for the game from steam. 👍🏼

Just a quickie, step 12, you need to paste the pak files into the "base" subfolder on your Quest.

I highly recommend this! Also Quake 3 Arena 👍

Probably not as he would have to reinvest in super-expensive grips for Q3- or then again maybe has them sponsored.

I didn't realise it worked with Provolver till I saw this. Will try it out and yes Evilkingus, I already have the not so expensive Q3 grips. Check out my Twitter post with the Provolver attached to a ProTubeVR stock 😉
