He's playing hot pink Fender one of the Doobies played. I think it was Patrick Simmons but I have to check my photos. Yes, it was Patrick's guitar.

Correct! We were a few rows behind you (given the perspective of your video). Pat was playing that guitar earlier. Derek probably borrowed it 😁

The Doobies were a top 40 band. Us early 70's generation apprepreciate - and know a lot of the words to - probably 6 or 8 DB songs. If they can show up and just play those hits all is fine. I would not be interested in hearing them reincarnate any song that wasn't on the radio.

.........then you are a foolish person. The Captain and Me is one of the finest albums EVER in the classic rock era, and it has only two top-40 songs (Long Train Running, China Grove). That entire album is seriously strong, and to not want to listen to it because most songs didn't receive a lot of air time? You're just depriving yourself..............

Yeah, the only thing I deprived myself of was listening to a bunch of Doobs boring every-song-sounds-alike bolony. Their best stuff was on AM radio for free.

Sorry, I am 64 years old, and the Doobies came to the Iowa State Fair last year. Like 1,000's of other's I was expecting the concert of a lifetime. The Doobies had crowds of people leaving before they finished the 1st set. Worst concert I have ever attended People actually booed.

Sad that many of these Rockers from the 1970's and 1980's just can't sit home and enjoy the down time. They'd rather force there EGO of missing the old days, when they could actually play and sound good. Why Derek and Susan would subject themselves to this over indulging embarrassment is beyond me

PLEASE GO INTO RETIREMENT! Take 38 Special, Skynyrd, REO Speedwagon, Molly Hatchet, and countless others with you. The embarrassment level is only seen by those, thinking they're going to get a show they may have seen 40+ years ago.
