He looks like he has potential to be an Olympic and world medalist someday. If Javier Fernandez did it for Spain for the first time, I think Donovan can do it for Mexico too. Their style and energy is so similar.

He placed last at Skate America and still has a whole lot of faith. No doubt he won’t make history again.

he has a different energy from everyone else. I hope we can watch him more in the future

Amazing. And, he looked like he was having so much fun out there. I am so happy that he got to live his dream. Zero deductions! You Star! His reaction to his score and placement was the BEST! 🥰

Donovan’s program was really enjoyable to watch, and I look forward to seeing more from him! You could tell he was feeling the music.

Llegando a las olimpiadas desde un país donde en sí no se apoya a los atletas ni económicamente ni en infraestructura, mucho menos tenías las condiciones adecuadas por ser un deporte impopular porque no existen pistas adecuadas para practicar, es más, si no existieran esas plazas comerciales, seria aún más difícil el acceso a una pista de hielo... Y luchaste y no te rendiste, has participado al lado de grandes figuras, y leyendas como Yuzuru, Hanyu, llegar al lado de ellos a estos juegos fue la recompensa a tus esfuerzos y que jamás dejaste de creer en ti, en México estamos tan orgullosos, esa alegría, esa pasión, eso se trae, no se aprende. YES go Donovan!! He was easily one of the best, most charismatic skaters at the Olympics this year, he put the artistry back in skating!! He's doing Mexico and Latin America proud ❤

Bueno, en general la gente mexicana es así, carismática y enérgica, la mayoría son extrovertidos, es habitual sonreír mucho y muy seguido, también hay mucho contacto físico, y muchas bromas subidas de tono.

Jiyon, el practica en la pista de hielo en un centro comercial. Como bien dices en México no hay hielo y es un clima cálido, por eso tiene más valor, Donovan se ha esforzado mucho, saludos!
