Donnie is 59 this year yet still looks like he’s in his 30s. He started practicing Tai Chi at a very young age and have kept it up till this day. Just a food of thought what discipline can do for u it’s amazing. Loved this man

after I discovered him I watched every movie of his I could find. Lot's on Prime Video. The man is just amazing. I am so happy Americans got to see and appreciate him
I love that Donnie and Michelle are now getting the recognition they deserve doing action while also showcasing the new stuff they learned as actors. They never really had much attention during the era of Jackie and Jet so this is a great thing to see.

That film, "Mismatched Couples," is actually about breakdancing and was created by Yuen Woo-Ping (yes, the famous action choreographer who did all those crazy fight scenes in the US during the 2000s) as a showcase for Donnie because he (Donnie) was actually a breakdancer as well as martial artist. It's a fun flick if you don't go into looking just for kung fu fights--though, there are some of course. Almost more of a romantic comedy.

Donnie deserved a foreign film OSCAR for the 1st IP MAN movie. It was incredibly good. In my view one of the best Asian films ever made, where ACTING and story were at the same level as the incredible martial arts and stunts. Also, lets appreciate that the best action movies feature men pushing 60 that look 20 years younger. Tom Cruise, Donnie Yen, Keanu Reeves.

Stole the show in RogueOne as well. The way Donnie moves is so damn cool - makes all those crazy sequences look effortless and natural.
I'm so happy Donnie Yen is still going strong, I still remember watching him in movies like Iron Monkey, Once Upon a Time in China, Dragon Tiger Gate.. He's definitely one of the greats for martial arts films😃 Can't wait to watch John Wick 4!

Watching young Donnie Yen dancing in that clip is so nostalgic. I remember being a little girl watching that movie and I thought this actor is so cool and after that, I’ve been a huge fan of his. Have always love Hong Kong cinema and tvb dramas.

I first saw Donnie Yen in Yuen Woo-ping’s Iron Monkey and it’s been one helluva crazy ride, from playing sidekicks, to SPL with Sammo Hung, the famous Ip Man movies and now to John Wick. Now that both Jackie and Jet are old and slowing down, Donnie has stepped up to the throne and proven his star quality, even though he’s nearing 60 years old.

I just saw the movie. And I got to say. Whoever came up with the idea of Cain using motion sensitive doorbells as a means of Cains echolocation is a goddamn genius. After watching Cain in action. I doubt even Daredevil could actually beat this guy without some kind of plot armor. I always wondered who would be considered a peer for John Wick. And Cain was that answer. Yen was amazing.
This is a multitalented actor. Besides being a martial arts specialist, he is also a great pianist!

At the time, Jet Li was the one to persuade the director of Hero to bring Donnie Yen into the movie. That actually ended up giving Donnie Yen's career a boost.

My late eldest daughter was big fan of Donny Yen. I only know Jet Li and Jackie Chan but when my daughter introduced me to Donny Yen's movie ; am so awed and then now am a fan of him .

Yes, indeed she would. My late daughter was a movie lover and she was the one that always would bring me out to watch any new movie in the theater. I missed her a lot.

My daughter died 3 yrs ago aged 39 after giving birth to her one znd only daughter 😢

A Legend
I became familiar with Donnie Yen from the Ip Man movie franchise and ever since then I have been a fan of every film I have seen him in. Great actor for sure :-)

check out donnie yen's first movie. I forget the name but it has to do with TaiChi. I doubt there are any subtitles but you don't need it to understand the movie.

Recommend SPL (aka KillZone) and Flashpoint too for hard-hitting action.
He's so humble, love this man!
Just watched John Wick 4 and as much of a fan of Keanu as i am Donnie really stole the movie for me, he was so damn good it must’ve been hard playing a blind assassin character, loved him in the Ip man movies too

Donnie Yen in Mismatched Couples was my introduction to him and loved him ever since. At one point he seemed to have disappeared from acting altogether, but I'm glad he's back and getting roles in Hollywood, and still kicking. I would've thought he may have past his prime getting back in so late but obviously that's not the case as proven in the Ip Man series, SPL and now John Wick 4

Him and Keanu were so brilliant
The first time I've seen Donnie was in Blade 2 and immediately thought - "they super wasted this guy"
For anyone who only know him from American movies, I suggest you try to find Donny Yen in a tv series called Fist of Fury, another adaptation of the classic Bruce Lee movie Chinese connection. His acting in that was great not only his fighting skills. Also The Kung Fu master tv series was great also. I became a fan when I accidently catch those series as a kid.

I’ve probably seen Donnie in movies before but I had no real idea who he was before this movie. But OMG he was absolutely amazing in JW4. So much fun. The movie wouldn’t have been the same without him.

Donnie Yen was IPman (the guy who trained Bruce Lee). You might want to go back and watch all 4 of those movies…

Watch a fantastic movie "Spl 2005". Donnie fight a fatty criminal Sammo Hung just like John Wick fights 'fatty' Scott Adkins)

Was a fan of donnie before IP man, favourite movie:"Flash Point", got to contain one of the best fighting scenes ever!
You can still hear that Boston accent from Donnie. Let’s go Red Sawx!!!
