He's sprinkled tastefully around hollywood movies actually! I just keep an eye on the bad guys in fight scenes. There's always a Scott Adkins somewhere. Man I love it, it's better than Stan Lee cameos.

Scott Adkins is cool as hell, He's instantly likable and humble but also honest about what he does and knows that he's good at it. Y'all need to get more videos with this guy.

I also liked when he said "If you're a fighter, which I'm not". He is a superb martial artist but also admits that he isn't an actual fighter and respects the guys who are. I have never seen Scott say or act like he is some total badass, unlike some, like Seagal.

I was at a party in the late 1990s and met a Korean guy who did Indonesian martial arts. We were the only ones not drinking alcohol, so we went outside to have a soda and chat. As we talked we learned we both did sticky hands or push hands. For fun, we tried it out to see if our height difference would be a problem. I'm 6'3" and he was 5'4". In 30 seconds we knew we were fine. We got going really fast and just then our host appeared. He exclaimed, "Oh my gosh, it's like there's a Jacky Chan movie live at my party!" Too funny. Then he asked if we would do it in the house, so everyone could see. Rick, the Korean guy, and I looked at each and both said, "Think we could get them to stop smoking?" We knew that wouldn't happen. So, we went in and began. After a half hour and a lot of laughter between he and I, we finally got tired. We needed a break, so we went out side for fresh air. Phew! I never saw Rick again after that and I've never found another sticky hands partner who was as good.

Technically he is MMA guy bc he has mastered multiple disciplines of martial arts . Plus martial arts actors need to work with more intensity with longer duration in show business compared to pro fighter in the show business ..as he said .

It's criminal that Scott doesn't have his own movie vehicle yet. He's super charismatic and humble at the same time.

@@K.G444 Gordon Ramsey isn't the end all and be all of cooking Jackie Chan just might be the pinnacle of fight coordination. In terms of dedication to their craft it's not even a competition

It's really great revisiting this episode after seeing John Wick 4, because here you listen to how warmly Scott talks about the John Wick movies and directors like Chad Stahelski carrying the torch for stunt work in action movies, and you feel extra great about the fact that Scott is actually in John Wick 4! Which is something he's been wanting to be in for a long time. Scott is a legend.

Well, Scott is not really a stunt person even though he does his own stunts sometimes. But stunt performers are not really respected. So, those who are not "chilled" would have left the industry already. They do life risking stunts that might not even be on the final cuts of movies; there is not Oscar for stunts.

The funny thing is - I remember seeing ‘The Medallion’ years ago, likely as a kid, and I remember that henchman he played because he had a distinctive look - and it’s only now, with Scott talking about it, that I realised that was him ^^;

I enjoy a lot of Scott's movies, the undisputed series was fantastic. I absolutely lost it at his van dam side kick story "so I remember that" 🤣

He looks like the love child of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman with all the charisma of both too.

The way Scott talked about his experiences was above and beyond. Just recently found y'all and I gotta say he may be my favorite guest for this series, he speaks with such passion and emotion! It wasn't just yeah this is what happened, it also was and this is how I felt during it! Beautiful episode y'all.

Green Street 3 and the Debt Collector duology are absolutely my favorite ones that Scott did, far and away his best in my mind.

11:52 I love how he points out the camera work. It's up close and it's shaky, BUT it tracks the action smoothly rather than being so frantic the important aspects are out of frame.

Scott is quite a storyteller. and with his voice and accent, every story is even better.

Love that Leach and Stahelski got mentions; both were lamenting how modern Hollywood was wasting the potential of their second unit/action crews, until they got fed up and just made John Wick to show everyone how great action films can be.

He's got a great sense of comic timing in his delivery too. Hopefully someone sees this and casts him a new kind of action franchise. Why can't we have an ass-kicking hero with gentle humour? They don't all need to be moody or snarky...

HIT HIM HARDER! *MORE POWER!* What a cool guy haha. I love these stories you don't typically hear because it's usually the actors and directors who take center stage. I'm glad more people like Scott are getting a chance to talk about their experiences via shows like this. Also love the SFX artist react series.

Scott is such a great storyteller.

I'm surprised I could hear him at all seeing how far his nose was up Scott's arse.

Just before I went into the military, I took a trip to LA with a buddy. His friend was Burt Reynolds private photographer. We got to go to the set of a Reynolds film where I met my hero, Buddy Joe Hooker. I wanted to be a stuntman. I was awestruck. The next day I got to go to Buddy Joe's stunt school. I did my first 40' fall. It was super fun. My rock climbing experience helped me greatly, oh, and having my arse kicked around school didn't hurt either. I didn't make it as a stuntman, but, I was a H3LLUVA sniper. LMAO! I am a huge Scott Adkins fan. The first martial art I learned was Wing Chun Kung-fu. So the high kicks were right out, but my sticky hands was evidently pretty good, at least that's what I was told over and over. Scott always impressed me so much every time I saw those kicks. Amazing stuff, man, amazing! YES! The Art of Action is astounding! I've been a fan since the instant I saw my first episode. Keep it up Scott!

Lmk, something I just thought of. Scott Adkins as MCU Wolverine? His martial arts would be great for Logan’s character living like over 200 years. Plus he’s got built to be the wolverine. I think homie would be dope.

The fact that Scott Adkins still isnt an A list action star on the same level of Statham and the Rock still boggles my mind

it's funny how scott is like the most charismatic person on the face of the earth, but he's played so many henchmen instead of just being himself

That's what I thought! I think the problem is they always write super serious characters for him, even as the lead. Someone needs to give him something with a bit of humour in his roles.

Scott is the chilliest actor I’ve seen. He just enjoying the movies and is a fan just like us.

What an interesting video! It was great to see Scott and his anecdotes.

Best episode ever I always say Scott Atkins is supremely underrated he would be the highest paid action actor ever look at his history in fighting movies let get it together Hollywood and use Scott for the badass he is

Scott Adkins was amazing in John Wick 4; he played a very memorable villain

I am just disappointed that you guys did not talk about undisputed and his best and worst stunts. Get him back please. Also next is Jason Statham!!

i hate how these guys structure the whole episode like they're gonna hear war stories from scott adkins' fights with all the greats, not realizing that scott adkins is one of the greatest if not greatest western martial artists working in film today.
