I remember the first meet with King K. Rool as a 9 year child. I closed the door of the living room and sat on the floor with a cup of cornflakes. Pumped up the volume and wide stereo. My heart was beating like hell my hands sweat a lot. I was in the game and i thougt that i am to be the man who have to beat K. Rool now. It took ages for my childish mind and it was my intensive bossfight ever. After beating K. Rool i felt like a real hero. I came out of the living room like a big proud man winning the olympics. For everyone else was it just another sunny sunday morning in 1996.

Now iam looking at my son and feel sometimes sad, cause something is going wrong in this world. He is in 1st grade and got the learning pressure like high school. Thats not right.

For me, the best part of a video game is usually fighting the final boss. I feel that the final boss should be intense and unique from all of the other bosses in the game. The reason is simple: as you beat the bosses, the buildup for the final boss intensifies, and the boss is (usually) the mastermind behind the conflict of the story.

I remember defeating Krow in one shot, and when I hit Kleever for the first time, I was stuck on Kleever for like a week. It only just got way harder from there, and I thought I was never going to be able to beat K Rool the very first time I reached him.

I remember my strategy for fighting King Zing was to hide in the beginning alcove and cough up coconuts until I inevitably hit him. His "angry" phase scared the crap out of me, because I was stuck in the corner the entire time

I did the same when I was a kid. Turns out fighting King Zing like a man is actually easier, lol

King K. Rool is one of the more successful villains in gaming. He actually kidnapped the main protagonist and hero and mascot of the game. That would be like if The Joker kidnapped Batman and you play as Robin...which wouldn't be a bad idea...but instead it's Scarecrow who does it. In Arkham Knight. So, yeah.

So he's better than ridley. A villian who kill samus's parents and keeps letting her live for most of the time so she can get more angered about ridley and how he killed her and even killed mario and mega man

@@angryboi595 To be fair, I don't entirely think it's Ridley LETTING Samus live most of the time and more Samus blasting him to bits to the point that he has to be kept on life support for around a year or so each time (I'm pretty sure it's 2 years between Zero Mission and Prime 1 canonically). Additionally, Ridley would have won in Samus Returns if not for the baby metroid, so we can't trash his track record TOO much. Now if you want to talk about dumb video game villains, I'd be happy to give a couple of examples upon request...

@@mekaboo318 Ah, but K. Rool did it TWICE (in both DKC2 and DK64), whereas I'm pretty sure Bowser only did that once (in Super Princess Peach). Also before you ask, I'm not including Mario is Missing here as I'm pretty sure both the fans and Nintendo want to forget about THAT "game". Edit: Now that I've thought about it, I may have misremembered what happened in DK64 - I think he actually kidnapped all the playable Kongs bar DK in that one. He's still a pretty qualified villain, though.

It's a Super Famicom controller because of the colored buttons! Basically it's the Japanese version of the SNES! :)

I’ll always remember my jaw absolutely hitting the floor from when Donkey Kong got loose just to finish K. Rool himself

+Bendy the Ink Demon Thankfully, that was only Sonic's beta design. Paramount listened to feedback from the fans and delayed the movie to redesign Sonic's character, and that was a smart move, as it led to the Sonic Movie being the most successful movie based on a video game.

Kudgel is the third boss of Krem Quay, he is a large muscular Kremling with gray skin doning a pair of yellow shorts and wields a giant wooden club with metallic pointy bolts.

Recordemos que en la época de los 90's SEGA y Nintendo tenían sus riñas, así que tiene lógica de hayan puesto los zapatos de Hedgehog en el bote de "Sin esperanzas", y el hecho que el Cowblaster de Jim este ahí es que su primera entrega se burlo de DKC con una máscara que se burlaba de Donkey. +Kendall Phillips Sonic's shoes and Earthworm Jim's gun were included as take thats to those video game franchises, specifically in response to take thats delivered to the DKC franchise by them. A promotional video for the Sonic & Knuckles game had the line, "Can an old gorilla beat this new team? No way!", and the Sega CD version of Earthworm Jim 1 had the unlockable "Worm Kong" mask which resembled Donkey Kong with an arrow through his head, done in response to DKC1 outselling Earthworm Jim 1 in retail sales.

And that's the reason why ALL Boss bettles in dkc1 were lame and boring. They did It right with DKC2 and 3 by adding Variety and different strategies to them.

I'm not a huge donkey kong fan. I dont know much about the franchise but this is my favourite donkey kong game I've played so far then again I guess it would count as a diddy kong game? Whatever I just love this game

Its genious that the boss bossanova is a combination of the lockjaw music, the rigging music and the crocodile isle music at the same time.

On round two in the Lost World, K Rool is pinned in the corner and wont move, simply blasting away after he just got off getting almost eaten by piranhas and all it takes is one last hurrah. Great attention to detail

Finally joins the Smash arena.

Dude, that was only facing K. Rool the first time. You have to face him the second time in the secret levels to truly beat the game. Plus, he has whole new patterns in the second fight.

My brother told me when i was 5 i beat the first boss of the game after days and it was waaaaay past my bedtime, he was up doing college. And i ran into my dads and screamed that i beat the bird. Neatless to say i got my ass beat. Definitely worth it😂

The fight with Krow was infuriating. You can jump on the eggs to stop them from bouncing. You dont need to let them come to a rest.
