I use to make the same mistake and use locks of love. After doing research I now use Wigs for Kids.

@@bonniestevenson2221there are rumors that they sell the wigs instead of donating them, but this rumor is actually false. What they actually do that is considered controversial is that any hair donated that they “can’t use” they will sell to “off set the production costs” which I’m my research, most well regarded charities will not do that. Personally I am donating to kids with hair loss or wigs4kids

I tried doing that when u about 8 and they denied it, years later I found that same cut hair in a bag in a drawer. Though it is nice to give ❤

What do yiu tie your hair with? Just noamrl hair ubberbands?

More than 20" cut, maybe 22".😮 In any case, be skeptical of charities. Some, including hair harvesters, use the good will of people to lay on guilt trips. 😢
