    When did Trump accuse Cruz of being in the JFK assassination? All he did was mention a major news story about him being pictured with Oswald.

    That's interesting, Al Bundy because these are Trump's very words on the subject: "(Cruz’s) father was with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to Oswald being, you know, shot. I mean the whole thing is ridiculous. What is this, right, prior to his being shot? And nobody even brings it up," Trump said on Fox and Friends on the morning of the critical Indiana primary. "What was he doing - what was he doing with Lee Harvey Oswald shortly before the death? Before the shooting? It’s horrible." So tell me, you want a guy who traffics in tabloid information? Please. The man is a clown and it's a damned embarrassment that the GOP has stooped so low as to nominate him. Yes, it was a plurality of the Republican electorate, which actually is only slightly illuminating as anyone watching over the last 40 years or so could have predicted this. The party has been cultivating such attitudes for years and they have the audacity to act shocked and dismayed that he's the nominee? There are no words.

  • @rumi9005

    +Gary Easy - We tend to look for simplistic solutions to complex issues. GATT and NAFTA may have had some effect on US jobs, though I suspect that history will show the effects were pretty much a wash, as good as they were bad. Jobs have disappeared because what used to be called the 'Third World' is industrializing. Which is happening because the conditions are right for it. In the long term, it'll be a good thing, but right now it's causing manufacturing and other jobs to move to where labor is cheaper. Trump has won the Republican nomination by claiming he can fix things with simple solutions - send back the illegal immigrants, build a wall, block foreign goods from the US, nuke ISIS. US politics needs a massive shakeup. That's what's happening now. But such circumstances often lead to bigger problems than they solve. I hope that's not the case with Trump, but I don't thing we're paying enough attention to how dangerous such a person can turn out to be.

    +Libby Welling O Libby, you're a naive looking petal. Tell you what, do yourself a favor, forget the Donald Trump you think you know, the Donald Trump that's portrayed by the media as nothing more than some rich bloke who starred in a reality TV show. Do a little research on KZread, start with his appearance on Oprah way way back in 1988 and you'll begin to see Donald Trump has always been a smart man with smart political views. You'll watch it and think 'if only the listened to Trump, this guy knows what's best for America.'

    +Libby Welling Did you watch the video? He wasn't running for president in 1988 was he? The question isn't should you listen to us. The question is: Should you blindly believe your TV or should you do your own research?

  • @johnlibbywelling2806

    @johnlibbywelling2806

    8 жыл бұрын

    +Ben Sokolow Actually, in 1988 he spoke on tv frequently saying he was 'considering a run' and has run in several other election cycles. I wasn't considering listening to Bundy up there. If your first line in response to someone is to talk down to them or insulting them it usually means they have little to no facts to stand on. Otherwise, they wouldn't have to resort to insults. Yes I watched the video, let's look at my original comment. I said it's surreal to me cause I can't believe, or rather don't want to, that Trump is the best we can do for this country. With all the people this country contains we should be able to do far better. We should have had far better choices. For whatever reason Bundy and apparently you have somehow managed to swallow the bitter pill that is Trump cause you are speaking in terms of him being the best of the choices you've been presented with and you can speak with your vote in November. I'm confused as to why my saying a situation is surreal means I am ignorant or that I don't do my own research. I always do, it is something I encourage in all people. Your issue seems to be that if I don't agree with your view that means I just don't know the 'real facts' cause I only listen to MSM. Consider this, I've done my research and I don't agree with Trump. Plain and simple. I don't necessarily agree with any of the other candidates either. No matter how smart he is or what plans he has that you think may work (and I disagree that they will) Character counts to me, which is why I dislike Hillary as much as Trump. As someone who would like to take pride in our country it disgusts me that we are put into the position of choosing the "least worst" of these people, yet again.

    okay couple things wrong with this. first off in 92 you had three actual candidates running for the national general election. secondly, you we're coming off of a four-year run from a former GOP candidate that failed to keep a promise on taxes which made a lot of people angry thus resulted in them not voting to reelect Bush. and lastly the current issues in 92 were vastly different than the current issues that stand today. the problems and issues in today's society are much more dire and for 24 years we the people have been trying to get someone into the office that will actually do what they say. Trump has a track record of getting things done when he says that he'll get it done. so in my opinion this isn't exactly a fair comparison

    there are different types of bankruptcies one is one you can't pay your bills, the other is reorganization of assets, which the later Trump did. Businesses do it all the time when the economy changes due to market conditions. People who never have been business before and work for someone don't know the laws and misinterpret them, which the establishment who has put this country's economy in jeopardy play on a bad sounding word to stop someone against their NWO. Do your homework instead of promoting stupidity.

    J Newman If he were a better CEO then perhaps his steaks, his airline etc wouldn't have needed bankruptcy. He isn't a good businessman, he is a con-man, one example would be Trump University. How does a great businessman not know you can't name something a university ... there be rules and stuff!

  • @jnewman715

    @jnewman715

    8 жыл бұрын

    Rules are usually created after someone complains. In fact, you may have heard, "the more laws, the less rights people have." The name Federal Reserve has nothing to do with the Federal government, but is a private enterprise, which hasn't prevented Federal Express from also using that misleading name! So someone complained, not about the central banks misleading name, but Trumps use of university. There are other cases, such as the bell logo used by ATT who got sued because an individual found out there was no copyright. Does that make ATT not a great business? Hardly! As with any business, an empty self is a diminishing asset, as a smart businessman, you fill the selves with different products whether it's your own or someone else product. No matter who's product the merchandising may or may not create a new brand of it's own. This creative aspect takes on it's own form as seen in the music industry or a name such as "Kleenx" has. with tissue paper All successful businesses run merchandising test to see what the market accepts and bear, so the owner may try to capitalize on that name from the invested interest from their this process. Have you ever ran a successful business? For over forty years I've been a business consultant with many large and small business. No one knows it all! 95% businesses fail for lack of knowledge or failure to act on knowledge, as Trump has proven he has. Successful people make the needed changes to succeed and to not loose. .

  • @jnewman715

    @jnewman715

    The word bankruptcy engenders a false image of failure, when in fact the law has different bankruptcy chapters, such as the one you are referring to 13. Reorganization of assets is another chapter that has nothing to do with not being able to pay, since the companies are assets worth more than the money owed, similarly to selling a house you owe money on to profit while paying off the mortgage. Does that Trump bad business con man? Those who are ignorant paint a false image that fits their own selfish thoughts, reveal they are the conned leading the conned.

    +Abouttime K Yeah, we know who Bernie Sanders is. He's a career politician that has never worked in the private sector and his economic policies would increase taxes by 90 % in some cases. So yes, we're very well aware of Bernie Sanders.

    Maddow is so smart-- smarter than all of us who are building this country, smart enough to filter Trump speeches. Is she smart enough to realize we need her to KEEP TALKING to BOOST Trump supporters. Please keep it up Rachel, us dumbasses need you!!!!!!

    Rachel Maddow, I usually like you as you seem a nice lady, but this is way off! So many things wrong in this film, and this is embarrassing! How can you call the US the world's oldest democracy? I stopped watching right there, couldn't take it any more. And the whole gasping attitude about these men who ran in the past, I fail to see how you want to connect them to Trump. Assuming that was your point, don't even know that. You act as if your country would go down in fire if Trump gets into office. Or worse. When Obama came to office 8 years ago, we were unhappy, but we didn't start such a cry party. Try to hold up and through the bad years, that's what we have been doing, trying to. You can do that, too. I am really disappointed in you, because I thought you were smart. But this film is just stupid.
