Liquidxan Ring chasing Chuck is just hating on KD for being a MVP on a excellent team. Chuck the best player need not be the mvp like Iggy or Rodman. Match ups are important, staring in your role and versatility is important in these playoff Games. 😳 Chuck probably tried to be a bid star and take on to much responsibility instead of sharing it with teams to win. Thus, he's ringless.

The statement is grossly misunderstood, what that means is literally the first line of the text. "Don't tell me you're good if", what that implies is that you shouldn't flaunt about being good when you're underperforming or better yet making excuses that you were slowed down. All time greats like them admit they were slowed down, Kenny even said that Chuck will be criticized for not winning yet Chuck knows it doesn't matter, denying KD wasn't is just soft. Chucks point is that bus drivers are at fault when the bus crashes, not the passenger. Similarly the Bus driver is responsible when they wins, if KD was a bus driver in GS then he should also be a Bus driver in Boston yet he didn't arrive at the station. What that tells you is that he wasn't a bus driver at all in GS, GS had their own bus which he rid on. The point of his statements was that he wasn't a good bus driver as a good bus driver doesn't make excuses under losses, why do you think they respect Giannis despite losing multiple times before? Because he's a good bus driver and admits fault when he loses. Giannis isn't soft, Steph isn't soft, KD just isn't the best bus driver if he doesnt take Ls.

Charles Barkley scored 44 points and 24 rebounds on Game 7 against Shawn Kemp and the Sonics in the Western Conference Finals to lift the Suns into the Finals against the Bulls. Barkley was the MVP and played like and MVP when needed. So Chuck is 100% knows what he's talking about as the bus driver. Chuck is real funny and goofs around but when he's having a serious basketball talk, he's ON POINT. There's a reason that he's not only a hall of famer but he was arguably been named the best player in that '92 dream team Olympics (if you have to pick one). If not for Michael Jordan (who Barkley admitted to playing in the Finals so well he actually told his daughter "he's actually the first player that might be better than me") and the Championship Bulls, I believe that Barkley would have one ring.

Charles couldn't win one as the driver or as the rider. He was always looking for a new teams rather than to stick it out. Demanded a trade from Philly. Demanded a trade from Phoenix. He was always looking for that super team back when stars usually stuck it out with their teams. He was even publicly threatening the Rockets that he would leave there if they didn't sign Scottie Pippen who had just won the championship the prior season. I always find it funny when Charles goes at guys who build super teams. Charles was trying to do that his whole career. He just failed at it.

Basketball is a team game. Big shot rob and kenny both spread the court with their high-percentage shot selection. Both players solid defense not getting into foul trouble like charles. Charles barkley got bashed by scottie pippen for hitting players instead of playing defense, taking too many low percentage shots, nor treating the game like a team game. Different mentality and the bus driver analogy is not accurate for basketball. Kenny's right, Horry is the forgotten hall of famer because too many people think the superstar gospel is truth. Making flashy low percentage shots and still losing isn't the team game that basketball is to most people. I would take Smith/Horry over any team charles barkley was on.
