Oh good! I love how similar our reading taste is!
I am intrigued with The Midnight News, The Mothers, The Women’s March, We’ll Always Have Paris, Little Souls, and Millicent Glenn’s Last Wish. I have The Hidden Child and A Lineage of Grace on my bookshelves and have been wanting to read them both. So sweet your daughter’s middle name is Ruth. Mine is too. I was named after my Great Grandma Ruth (who also had twin girls like I did!) and the Ruth in the Bible. Love all the historical fiction you picked up this month!

what a book haul!!! you have so many here that I've added to my list. Sarah Jio is such a good author, I read "Violets of March" many years ago - and still recommend this one to so many people. I've read a couple others by her - have this one you shared on my TBR. Love the Call the Midwife series - I do have the 1st couple books, but haven't read them yet - I discovered the series before knowing it was based on books. The series has been running for many years now. Love Masterpiece/PBS shows! happy reading!! looking forward to the next haul 😊

Time to read it and let me know how it is 🤣
I think I’m the one who mentioned Catherine Alliott. My favorites of hers are The Secret Life of Evie Hamilton and Wish You Were Here. I also like Marie Bostwick. Lots of good-sounding books. So glad you made a list of them.

ARC’s can’t be sold by retailers like B&N, thrift stores and resellers can after it’s out

Ya, I think it’s just frowned upon to charge more than the cost of shipping for arcs since people obviously don’t pay for it. But so it goes!
I read The rewind by Allison Winn Scotch and was underwhelmed which book should I read from her? I read With love from London, I’ll be interested to see what you think. I bought The restoration of Celia Fairchild a while ago but have yet to read it. I hope you enjoy your recently bought books! I bought 7 physical books in May The house on firefly beach by Jenny Hale, An island summer by Jenny Hale, The husbands by Holly Gramazio, All we were promised by Ashton Lattimore, The summer house by Jenny Hale, The summer place by Jennifer Weiner, and The boardwalk bookshop by Susan Mallery.
