I want to hear what you think!! I love that it makes me think more about what the whole story may have been. It’s easy to forget they’re real people with real feelings and a whole life in addition to the snip bits we see in the Bible!
Anna Hibiscus is on our TBR for school this year! Excited to read it now. We love Mr Popper but HATED the movie so you’re not missing anything.

I can't handle much horror - it has to sort of be baby horror lol. One I liked quite a bit was The Weight of Blood by Tiffany D. Jackson. It's a Carrie retelling and I think it was more my speed because it's YA.

Relatable! I don’t like it either and reading it confirmed it’s not good for my brain or my sleep haha
I don’t read horror I think it would be very bloody and violent. I like to read Bible based books. 15th-21st I got 4 books read and two were 5⭐️’s Keeping Lucy by T. Greenwood and She’s not sorry by Mary Kubica.

I don’t like horror at all. As for Biblical fiction, I don’t read it because I will confuse fiction with fact. I’m not a fan of Francine Rivers. I love a discussion about Mary and what she might have thought, said or did. Like in a Bible Study. I really like a description of the historical settings in the Bible. But not made up conversations.

Yes! I neeeed to talk to people about biblical fiction because it’s all speculation and I have to put my 2 cents in 🤣
