Hey Guys, You know I've been following you for a while now and having done the 90 days travel in Europe, all I can say is you are not negative folks all, you are real. Too many KZreadr's show the sugar coated version so folks don't see the real life challenges which life throws up when on the road.

Marseilles was a nightmare on a motorbike a few years ago. Traffic was awful. The satnav took us through some dodgy areas as well.

We would avoid Marseille like the plague. So busy. We drove through it twice on our way to Cassis. Nightmare. Bad luck with the gas situation again. 😢. Continue the great vlogs.

Oh my life, what a nightmare for you guys, we were trying to work out if we head to Marseille or not...we think we've made our mind up!! So glad you got gas in the end, we invested in GasLow before we went to the states, you just need different adapters for each country, but we've yet to fill up with LPG so I hope we're right 🤣 Great vlog, lots of love Julia and Gary♥

Oh thanks Julia and Gary! Not a very cheery video but it was the truth - though maybe you'd have a different experience out of season. Certainly a lack of any kind of park up and servicing stations were scarce, so unlike the rest of France! Hope you guys are ok and enjoying your adventures 💕💕💕

We've learnt the hard way for sure!

Although 20 years ago we went to Marseille for the day, it was a very edgy city and we got caught up in a drugs raid on the street but we still loved it

Wow now that's memorable! I think we'd have liked it if we'd stayed a bit longer and weren't in a motorhome. Maybe an apartment or something so we could be in the city? I hate moaning so much, onwards and upwards! Thanks for commenting 😄❤️

You certainly have some bad luck. Well get this. We renewed our van and took it out today for the 1st trip. We booked a site for 2 nts so we could spend time getting used to where everything is. Not far from home got caught for 3 hrs in a tractor farmers protest. The main road and motorway blocked. So here we are sitting in the van, in a street, 35mins from home. At least we are not covered in red and white tape.

Why are you messing about with camping gaz bottles and not got refillable bottles in your van?

We have refillable for the UK but the French bottles are different, so too the German apparently. Camping Gaz is universal and besides we left it so late trying to decide, that was the option we went with. Probably buy a French bottle next time 😄

Yes you're right. And we were day tourists! I think the sheer volume of people, vehicles and mess suggested something needed to change in terms of maintenance. But we missed the beauty of Marseille.

I think there is a word for frozen - congelee- but it’s not very glamorous. Love your vids 😊

Recently I saw a van with a broken window like yours. They had taped a tea tray over it. Duct taped on. It looked like a good bodge.

I always hated the dog poo in France. I think its the worst country in the world for doing that. They dont seem to care how awful it looks. So sorry you had such problems. How awful to sell you an empty bottle.

I must say we did see a lot of dog poo while we were there. Certain towns seemed to be on top of it but not many x

New real, are you serious? Don’t Watch if it’s not your thing? We’ve all been there doing this with our kids at some point. We personally love the vids as they remind us of our own experiences with our children in France. We’ve been doing this for over 20 years and we’re only 50!! Heaven forbid..don’t be a knob head 😂
