This needs to be seen by everybody.

This is a good reminder. And I definitely think parents should keep what they share about their kids on social media to a minimum. But if all that’s needed is one photo it also feels like that is easy for anyone to get, regardless of what parents share or don’t share - just by taking photos of kids out in public. It’s awful that there are so many sick people out there with perverted intentions towards children. Wish we knew how to prevent them developing their perverted issues in the first place.

yea it's completely useless...in this new world the only way to hide is in plain sight. A single photo is all it takes whether child or adult.

I had an argument with a friend 5 years ago about this on Facebook book and she blocked me because I told her she should not share all her son's baby pictures on Facebook on public for everyone to see. She was most offended when I told her that her son's images could be used against him in the future... Even back then I tried to tell her that one day he will grow up, go for a job , get a girlfriend and all his life is up on display for everyone to see and use against him.Whst is cute now,can haunt him forever...What I was saying to her was too Uncomfortable for her to hear, so rather than admit she made a mistake, it was easier to block me and ignore me....More people need to wake up. Especially now in light of the movie Sound of Freedom exposing the extent of child porn and child sex trafficking.

A lot of this is also on the police, employers, etc, to become equipped with the technology to spot deepfakes (which I believe advances at the same rate at deepfake technology. Don't quote me on this, though, do your own research) but I do agree we should do our part and be more cautious.

You can share the information without telling people what to do. That’s usually what will drive someone away. I’ve shared the info but without judgment or pressure to follow me and never been blocked

You tell them and they don't care. Especially those parents who grew up with Facebook and Instagram. They are addicted to attention - likes. And then they raise their children to be addicted to attention and likes. The creators of these apps absolutely knew what would happen. They're in tech FFS. THE GOAL WAS ALWAYS DATA COLLECTION. Either to sell to marketers or worse

Parents who share photos of their children should look at who's following them. I read that pedos follow women who post photos of their children and share/exchange those photos like sharing baseball cards. Yes your child is beautiful and does adorable things like swim and playing catch and reciting all different things. But someone else is watching. There's ALWAYS someone watching

So logically, since AI is already at this level, phone systems should automatically ask if you are sure you want to share the photo. The phone's system shouldn't upload all the photos to the cloud, Cloud hacking isn't a big deal for AI these days...

I love it when people post on Facebook they are on holiday with all the pictures to go along with it. I bet they're are burglars joining Facebook and other platforms for that very reason!

But once again all the responsibility for dealing with the dangers of social media and AI is transferred to the individual rather than the tech companies themselves or our governments taking these safety issues seriously- they have been allowing all this poisonous behaviour to become possible for years. 😡

So - how many of you know someone who has an experience where their identity was stolen and used like in this video? I know not a single person to whom this has happened. So at this point, this creates fear and hate and does not save people when they do not post anything. Digital bullying was a thing already many years ago, so this has nothing to do with AI - it has to do with some people being douchebags! There will always be many bad people who like to harm others. AI is yes, a good tool for them to do more harm. But at this point, the worst things that have happened are done by humans with other scams, not AI. Because a lot of people are dumb and easy targets for scammers. We should make people smarter and more aware, that's a much better goal than to scare them. So yeah, thanks for... the fear you create, Telekom. Great job...

@@TheHeroRises but what do you think about how this makes people act? How they will change the way they like to live, what they like to share, what to show. They will stop doing what they actually like because of Telecom's "look at us we care so much about you, thanks for that" commercial. I think the danger of this happening is more like being hit by a falling tree - you can kind of avoid it, but when it happens it happens. But it is not likely to happen so you also do not look at every tree you pass because that is a bit dumb fear. So you live in fear of trees that actually will not fall. What life is that? A life in fear.

Totally agree, it needs to be share worldwide. Not everybody has the privilege to learn English but has the right to know about/ to be reminded of the dangers out there, especially when it comes to their privacy

i'm looking for this commercial that is against children being on social media, it shows a young girl in her room maybe making a video? like a tiktok? or on instagram i’m not sure and then a bunch of men walk into her room like looking at it like they’re on a tour. and it's like how by her posting it she's inviting strangers into her room and u don't know who they might be. i need it for a paper i'm writing. i can't find it anywhere!!!

what do you mean scary? it teaches parents how SCARY it can be to post your children on social media, identities stolen, crimes that your child would never do, being humiliated at school, voice copied to scam parents, credit score plummeting, and child pornography, this educates parents to not post them on social media and just keep them in their photos or send them to aunt margaret or your grandma

As someone has used ai art a lot, ai art is no where near this powerful. I wish I could take my photo and age myself. I wish I could do it with it being trained on hundreds of photos. It doesn’t work like this.

It may not happen as easily as this video. But they are making improvements every day. They have posted fake out videos of the past several presidents just to prove that they can. Just because it isn't as advanced as the video doesn't mean it won't be. And very soon.

AI can definitely harm you once you grow up. They can create fake photos of you, fake posts of you, use your face and or information to apply for jobs. It's very scary and right now we don't have protections. I know that some people are trying, but corporations are trying to block that because $$$$$$
