No one in my family has lived for Christ. I am the first to answer the calling of Jesus🤲 I will stand, sit, run, jump for God and I will be a generational curse breaker. My beginning might have started out with a lot of struggles and pain, but my finish will be greater than anything I've ever gone thru, making it all worth it!! I want the life of Jesus to shine in me and thru me. I want to do great thing's for the Lord!!

Overwhelmed by this message, how masterful the works of God from the beginning to the end. Only God, by His spirit could fulfill such a thing...Wow! From the gutter to the palace, in 1 day!!!

I love the way Pastor Jentezen uses the old testament to preach. I've only seen a handful of pastors who preach this way. A lot of the struggles in our lives today run parallel with the struggles and victory in the past. Different times yet the same problems. I've noticed that most churches concentrate on the new testament forsaking the old.

+John A. I couldn't agree more. I just wish though that some pastors would preach deeply like Pastor Franklin. There are a lot of shallow preachers out there.

Yes, indeed. One of the most popular is Joel Osteen, but I think he is as much a positive thinking preacher as he is a Bible preacher. I have a friend who thinks he is the bee's knees, but he is not for me.

+John A. Quite a few people I know love and rave about Joel Osteen so much that I got so curious and listened to his preaching. With due respect to his fans, I found his style to be shallow as he teaches full of feel good, motivational stuff... He's more of a positive, self-help, you can do it type of preacher. His style might have helped others but I want more than that. I want a preaching that says that if you won't follow God's way then you'll be damned because there is no other way but Jesus. I want a preaching that says that you can achieve your heart's desire but to get that, there will be hurdles on the way but fear not because if we cling to the Lord during our weakest moments, He will show us His strength and carry our burdens.

Im not a settler, but sometimes i hurt so bad, i just want to lay down and die. But God has been gracious in giving me his dynamic energy no matter what is going on with me physically. I've gotten where i dont really want anything else, but i realize that i have to reach for more because I feel a strong calling to encourage those who want more and want to do more for Jesus.

Jentzen is a good Bible teacher, but I prefer New Testament teaching to Old Testament teaching. The New Testament is the New Covenant; moreover, it is not as difficult to follow.
