I love this story. Not the part about the dogs being hurt but the part about the war dogs taking care of the problem. Thanks!

I can absolutely relate to the protagonist in this story. Anyone who violates or abuses animals will get no pity from me. Although I, too, would not hurt them myself, I would absolutely see the beauty in knowing that they met their fate in a poetically justifying way.

My English Mastiff Navy and I loved listening to this story! Dogs really are people too, he saved me when I got back from Afghanistan, just like your stories did while I out there. Kept me sane. So thanks from both of us, Skott.

I work with dogs at a dog daycare and almost the entirety of my social circle is taking my dog to the dog park on our property and playing with my neighbors dogs. This is the 2nd story I've heard today about dogs. I also watched Nerdsync's video about how badly everyone screwed up making Scrappy Doo an evil villain, and the 1 time they did it right. Hearing that there is a comic version of the story where Scooby and Scrappy were science experiments gone wrong and how badly they were treated had me stopping the cleaning I was doing at work and hugging every dog within arms reach till the end of the video.

I tend to always want a person to repent or get a 2nd chance but, DAMN that was some sweet karmic payback!😁

That story was very creepy, and I loved the ending. The narration was amazing, as always.

Their humans don't train them because they're too cute and small, so they think.

There's actually a real answer to this! Small dogs don't have their boundaries respected. They start by doing the things big dogs do to warn people off - ears back, growling, etc - but because they're so small, people take no notice. So they go to biting and scratching, and find that works, and from then on, they'll go straight to biting and scratching to get humans away from them if they don't want to be touched. If you treat your small dog with the respect they deserve, they'll be just as cuddly as the bigger ones.

I guess it's a sort of defence mechanism.. large dogs don't need to be aggressive people instinctively knows not to mess with them but the small ones the pocket dogs! They need to show agression as much as possible so as to get noticed ... Or i could be wrong, just stating my ideas from my observations so far

@@EddieM1994not entirely true as there’s many different personalities to small dogs. Some are literal demons (chichis), some are smart and trainable (Pomeranian), some are abominations (pugs), some are chill AF (frenchies and Boston’s), some are just existing (shitz, Yorkies)… Many small dogs are yappy, has less to do with boundaries but breeding… We humans bred the “wolf” out of many dogs and selected cute “puppy” trait… face shapes, ear shapes, demeanors… many of the things we like in dogs are puppy traits. Yapping is a puppy trait (an annoying one) but comes frequently in smaller dogs. As is mouth licking, floppy ears, lower aggression. Couple selective breeding with reduced training, and a napoleon complex and you have everything g that rankings from obnoxious yapping to demonic snarling yapping. It’s why Inuit breeds (closer lineage to wolves) bark less if at all. While as we get more divergent we start seeing more barking.
