I took Robins classes on Peloton for about a year straight before diversifying my roster and trying new people- she was my intro to the bike and she is absolutely AMAZING. She does get serious usually 2/3 of the way through, during the home stretch when people start to give up a little and tire out, and really tries to push you to finish strong. That’s her job. She also tries to perpetuate living in the moment and being present, so I think that’s also where this is coming from. She can be tough at times, but prefaces EVERY RIDE with saying to listen to your body and adjust as needed and to make the ride your own. But being pushed hard and to focus- that’s literally what you signed up for. I just don’t want people considering Peloton seeing this small out of context clip and thinking this is what she’s all about and that the bike is this merciless bootcamp. She’s actually very motivating, kind, and hilarious and promotes a lot of self love. Cheers!

Ya better come correct. xoxo. and fyi, I have taken classes in the studio for years and they make an announcement before going live that no phones are allowed to be in use during the class -- the studio is mic'ed and will pic up the noise of people talking besides the fact that using a phone is spin class is ridiculous! If someone has a problem with that they don't need to take a ride in the studio.

Its kind of a double edge sword because the instructors like this are cringe but at the same time they aignt wrong. If you gonna join a Peleton or spinning class, you shouldn't be on your phone or having a convo haha

I’ve been trying out different instructors, I just took one of her classes. I really didn’t like her style. So much so that I don’t plan on taking any of hers again. I’d normally try a few out before making a call. But she was next level annoying.

60 to 80 resistance sound like a lot but if she could casually start like that it's not that hard of resistance... I don't know how those bikes work but doesn't seem like a hard workout. I ride bikes that have to deal with the resistance of the earth for hours at a time. How is 20-30 minutes on a fake bike going to be harder?

I totally agree with the cell phone but that is not her job. Don't they have people to do that? It's a fucking live program or at least being taped. Why allow cells in the first place? @Jason Harding it’s disruptive for others. Sure your paying for the class but why take out your phone and not pay attention? It’s rude to the instructors and besides they have rules about that stuff and it disrupts the synchronicity of a live class which could potentially make the experience less smooth for the at home viewers
