Don't Make This Rookie Mistake When Visiting Snoqualmie Falls | Pacific Northwest Adventures

Snoquamie Falls located 30 minutes east of Seattle is one of Washington State's top attractions, drawing 1.5 million visitors each year. This majestic waterfall is a Pacific Northwest gem!
However, plan according if you should visit this destination, especially if you plan to visit during the winter. I feel bad for the many folks who traveled great distances to see the waterfall on this day.
Amanda and I stopped by L'Experience Paris bakery in Issaquah for coffee and pastry on this day. There's two other locations (Bellevue and Mercer Island) but we chose this one because it was on the way.
Hope you enjoy this vlog. I may make a part two as we did quite a bit on this day.

I live in North Bend and grew up in Snoqualmie, the Falls has always been one of our true treasures. Not small town living anymore, Snoqualmie population is almost 20K and North Bend is upward of 10K and growing.

Snoqualmie Falls -- gorgeous place, if you can see it! It's a fun hike to the bottom, hopefully they will open it up again soon. The Salish Lodge has incredible food, although a little pricey. Get a table by the window for a remarkable view of the falls. Too bad about the weather, but that's a honest look at PNW winter conditions. We're called Webfoots for a reason.

I don’t ever remember ever having to pay to park. And thanks for letting us watch you WIPE 🤣 the lens!! Love adventures! Husband is retired now so always looking for some place to go or explore. Foggy all week here so wasn’t surprised to see a foggy view of the falls. ❤️

Always having a good time, life is too short not to. Just the sound of the falls is as magical as seeing them. Something about the sound of falling water that's so relaxing. Only been a handful of times have ever found a spot in the lower parking lot. Putting the power plant under the river bed was an engineering milestone. Believe Pudget Light and energy has a video documentary about building the plant. Pick me up another Twin Peaks coffee mug while you're there Mr Dennis.

Hope you go back when the weather is nicer so we can REALLY see the falls. Don't blame Amanda at all, I probably would've stayed in the car also.

Mother Nature apparently had other plans. One of those, "Welcome to Washington, now GO HOME..." type of days. But the splendor of the GREAT PNW cannot be denied. In my fondest dreams, I am hoping to relocate up there, put down roots, and just live in peace and harmony. And, maybe take a trip to Snoqualmie Falls on a day not quite so foggy :-)
