Washingtonians like to use the term “the mountain is out” when we have a clear view of Mount Rainer. The mountain can be seen all over the state on a clear day.

We Portlanders say the same about Mt. Hood or Mount St. Helens. And having always approached Mt. Rainier from the Longmire entrance, I was blown away by how different the mountain looks from the Yakima area.

Love the content. I was just there in June with my grandson, and his dad. We backpacked in Olympic National park for 6 days before we went to Rainier, and had 70 degree weather every day. We had an absolutely amazing trip! On our first day in the HOH rain forest we ran into three black bear less than 50 feet away from us stripping a tree feeding on grub worms. It was a really exciting way to start our epic adventure out west! I so appreciate seeing the evidence of the love that you have for your family, and for life itself. Thank you so much for sharing it with us on here.

Oh man, the opening brought warmth to my heart. Hearing your poetic words paint a picture, nay a symphony reminds me of the many proses of the brilliant John Muir. We call Mount Rainier our home park for it is the closest major to our home and yes our heart. Seeing you and Natalie there brought smiles to our faces as you stepped upon places our feet have traveled. My daughter Kaylee who conjure you name anytime we see swimmable water in a natural place looks at me with shocked eyes as you stood near the waters that embrace the Grove of the Patriarchs. I assured her you would make a safe choice LOL and of course you did. The 360 degree camera sure is incredible. Providing some drone like shots that enhance the beauty you are sharing tremendously. Mount Rainier National Park is such a beautiful National Park! I did all the hikes that you did on this video and they're all amazing! Even just walking on the trails to get to these main attractions was so green, lush, and beautiful! You shot this really well and you new 360 camera and invisible selfie stick are impressive! I might have to look into getting those items for myself after watching this. Really beautiful video my friend and I do appreciate you sharing another National Park adventure with all of us.
