Why? The creators were trying to make art. It can be interpreted in many ways. If it's creepy, you should question why you find it creepy and comes to terms with it! It's okay to feel creeped out, but you can also appreciate it for other reasons as well.

This show seems really promising for all ages. Can’t wait to show my little sister this show when it airs! Also I really love the pirate theming, you can tell they put so much effort into the ship and destinations.

Yes it's delightful! Though I will warn you, the scenes with captain bucket beard could be a little scary. When he sang his scary hairy shark song, my kid hid behind the couch! But other than that, I'm sure your sister will love it :)

Wow TIME has really passed. What a CREATIVE team that must have been to make such DREAM wrecking videos and how much LOVE and care must have gone into it. C Mac Eaton it's kind of in the same vein as the show: it begins as something that you might actually see on TV, like an actual behind-the-scenes of something, and then you start to notice things like how they show the same three shots over and over, and then one of them is bleeding, and how joe repeated the exact same thing becky said and stuff. and then it just all goes to hell.

Same three clips used over and over, “and action” constantly repeating before those clips, the pirate voices, the made up story lines, the creators going insane. Them adding gore and the characters, adding the original fell of familiarity to creepy. This is a masterpiece

God I want to work on things like this SO BAD. I always wanted to be an animator when I was younger and started making plush dolls that served more as art pieces. I wanted to try stop motion animations but it was very difficult for me then. Then I realized that puppetry is a much easier media to get into and found this series online. Seeing these behind the scenes bits makes me realize how much I want to do that stuff again.
