@@gigaman9548 : I know that in the comics; Thanos killed half of the universe's population because he was in love with Death. In the MCU, he did it because of overpopulation and depletion of resources.

@@SebaCorrea1993 Because Thanos has tunnel vision that prevents him from seeing any other solution. He has tunnel vision because he's crazy. He just wants validation from other people that he was right and for them to be grateful. When they're not he blames them and decides to kill everyone and replace them with people that will be. He doesn't care about helping the universe. He just wants validation and gratitude. It's all for his ego.

Nebula could have been helping to pull the gauntlet off smh
He knew how to control a moon with that gauntlet. The fact that earthlings defeated him is still a marvel to behold!!
I never understood why Tony didn't just shoot Peter with one of his Repulsors like he did to Falcon when War machine got hurt before Peter could hit Thanos. Take one hand off the gauntlet for a split second to take out Peter and then get the gauntlet.
Everbody blamed Star-Lord, yet no one asked why it took so long to get the Gauntlet off. It's bascally a metal glove (and they're not hard to pull off), not a second skin.

Even though he was under mantis control he was still resisting but he was weaker from it. He was still strong enough to take that much time, though

Thanos could have literally changed the universe so that resources on planets couldn't deplete.
Love can be a powerful thing, so powerful that it could cost a universe, (or half of one). Tony knew that. He'd already been there with Bucky. Unpopular opinion, (f**k off, my wife was just diagnosed with kidney disease), but I don't blame Quill an ounce.... Especially these days.
