Yes. I'm American and I think her American accent was great. If I'd never heard her real accent, I would've honestly thought she was an American woman.

You can learn the difference between effect and affect by learning the word RAVEN R : remember A : affect is a V : verb and E : effect is a N : noun

Practise is the American version of the British verb, practice. In 'British' English, 'practice' also serves as the noun.

They are the most moving kind of speech because they attempt to pluck meaning from the fog, and on short order, when the emotions are still ragged and raw and susceptible to leaps. Peggy Noonan. Please tell me how to pronounce the word ragged ? I check the dictionaries . So it should be pronounced as "Ragid "However one of my friends continuously tells me it should be pronounced as "reijd (in this sentence )

"Licence" is a noun, while "license" is a verb.

In American English we use "license" for both. We do not use the spelling "licence" at all that I'm aware of.

Lucy your method of teaching is excellent.I am recomending to lot of people.
As a Portuguese native speaker, these pairs of words are very easy to understand. In my language, it has some similarity the way the words are written and the meaning are very distinct.
Thank you for the lesson, Lucy. You are so funny and it is an interesting feeling realize that I had a smile on my face just listening to you while my brain was understanding everything without a translation :)

In Arabic (Bring and Take) have very different and clear translations which makes it impossible to confuse one with the other for me, the rest of the words in both parts were very helpful, thank you Siri :D

Using bring and take in this video surprised me because I'd never used them wrongly. Turkish is my mother tongue so maybe it helps to know differences between verbs cause we always separate them by meaning

I remember by associating the E or A with a another word as a hint. So: "thE Effect, cAn Affect." The effect = noun, the thing. Can affect = verb, can do something.
