I will probably infill my lot I could easily put a 6 plex in soon as they change the laws. Cashout and move out of here. the first to build and sell will be the biggest beneficiaries of the new laws.

Don’t buy an attached infil without a concrete party wall.

@@ChamberlainGroup For city of Calgary building codes, if you want to put in a secondary suite in a semi detached or townhouse, there has to be a firewall that goes all the way from the basement to the roof between the units.

I am working on the landscapes of 2 properties in Altidore/Marda Loop, the external power in both is useless as they are built new overloaded. One of each type, but it doesn't matter, cheap work is the rule of the day and I come in to fix it. Code is a laughable word when you see 6 month old steps off the side of the garage that drop 4 inches when you walk on them. Embarrassing, stupid and criminal without any conscience are also apt words. Watched a house flippers landscaper build 6 ft wide by 24 long deck tied to the house and supported by a 2 by 4 knee wall before they sheathed it in so you couldn't see it. The flippers are asking me to do more work for them now, but if you hang out with scum it will rub off.
