I noticed this video did not mention townhomes with condo fees versus ones that do not have condo fees. I think that’s a huge determining factor in this tight market.

And I'm here today throwing my 5 cents in. I have been saying that by year end 2024 average detached will be around 800k, I'm right on spot.

We are in Country Hills and our townhouse is a 2006 build and was only 255k a couple of years ago. We kind of got a steal! We love this community!!! There is not a lot of crime, either! Though I'm thinking that may change as they extend the LRT line. We'll see!!!

It would be very interesting to see the April and May sales figures. I noticed the inventory went up quite a bit after the new budget announcement. Seems some folks would rather be done with rental property before the 67% capital gain kicks in in June. Is inventory typically increasing at this time of the year? Also, the stock market finally entered a 5% correction, which may cool down the house price a bit. Let us know if you notice any price trend changes so far in April. Thx Jared.

Is this the reason the mayor has been forcing blanket rezoning? Hundreds and hundreds oppose the proposal already. There will be rallies in the next 2 weeks.

In other words, impossible to buy 😢

I know this is an informational video but honestly anything over $250/Sq-Ft is a joke, Calgary sprinting to catch up to Vancouver and Toronto for housing prices. A duplex for over 600K??? I don't care how nice they may be or if they are close to the size of individual homes developers are saving huge amounts of money with that shared wall and smaller plot of land.

Don’t buy any real estate in Calgary in 2024 from now till July 2024. Reasons….drought, wild fire smoke, federal budget, bank of Canada interest , living utility cost , fuel price…

I made a mistake moving to Calgary last year… just wanted to warn people the level of expense I am facing currently. All with good intentions and interest for the buyer.

Nobody warned you Calgary is a bad investment. Nowadays, Calgary is overrated for any real estate.
