I came across them around that long ago as well. For me they confirmed my own understanding and conclusions of things that I had reached through my own study and research. It wasn't easy for me to feel as if I was the only one who saw things this way while being surrounded by so many cookie cutter Christians that learned their beliefs from mass printed fliers aimed at soothing rather than the scriptures. They have been a Godsend.

@@just_me2797 I agree. It can be a lonely feeling for sure, at least in the US. I also use John Piper's Desiring God website and his sermons on YT. I was please that Piper holds the same views on rapture (and other views) as FAI. The mission directive of FAI among Americans seems to be growing as more people are reading for themselves what is written in scripture.

Joel, I understand where you're coming from. I was a middle school language arts teacher in a little Christian school. When I was invited to teach that particular subject, I was also given a curriculum to teach from including novels such as Where the Red Fern Grows, etc. Well, one parent started a rumor that I was actually a plant from the enemy sent to the school to exploit the minds of the children in my care. When I confronted her about this in presence of the Administrator, she finally admitted she'd spread the rumor because she felt the book Where the Red Fern Grows was non-Christian, thus satanic, thus I must be a follower of Satan. Unbelievable! Meanwhile, she did irreparable harm to my reputation as a teacher. For years, people were warned about me without even realizing the origin to the story and the fact it had been repudiated. So each new school year I had to deal with a fraction of distrust. And this is only ONE example. I eventually left the school to work elsewhere. To quote a phrase, "People be crazy!!" and I would add, "Churchy people" especially. Sadly, so reminiscent of the Salem Witch Trials.

God convicted me of it and one day it's like my eyes were opened and I thought what the heck did I get my mind wrapped up in. Now I unfollowed them all and am just staying in scripture and trusting the good Lord! What I Love about FAI is yall are very realistic and back everything with scripture. I think it is important to be aware of satanic symbols and activities as Paul stated, "we are not unaware of satanic schemes" (2 Cor 2:11). It's good to know to avoid and expose them - Ephesians 5:11-12 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.. It does not mean that credit is given to the devil at all as he deserves nothing. Many people were drawn into the satanic, demon worship by being partakers of activities and symbolic rituals that they were not aware would elicit the worship of satan. We must be watchful and prayerful at the same time, because there are satanic powers in high places that are working continuously to deceive and destroy us - Eph 6:12. In Yeshua, we have His protection. God bless.

As far as I know both Sermiramis and Nimrod did exist in the Assyrian Iraqi history... in the museum she is there as artifacts or whatever she is very admired even today in Iraq; see the youtube video when the football games started last year; how the Iraqis where dressed in old assyrian folklore costumes; especially one woman had make up to make her look like Semiramis (Shamiram the Assyrian pronounciation). Tammuz is also in the Bible when the women wailed for Tammuz Ezekiel 8:14

They each existed, but not at the same time. Tammuz was worshipped as a minor agricultural deity prior to the flood. Nimrod was born a couple of generations after the flood, and Semiramis was regent for her son, Adad-narania III some centuries after the accepted time of Nimrod's death.

  • @stephenszucs8439

    @stephenszucs8439

The RCC has many grave errors, but the Nimrod myth isn't one of them. "Lucifer" is NOT the name of the Satan. The King of Tyre was named or titled "Halel." Halel means "Light Bringer" or "Shining One." When the prophesy against the King of Tyre was recorded in the Bible, it also referred the Satan as the type/image that Halel was exhibiting; the English translators recorded the name/title of King Halel by using a Latin word, rather than transliterating the name or using an English word. The Latin word for Light Bringer is lucifer. It is a WORD, not a name or title. Jesus is called "The Bright and Morning Star, which also is translated as "Lucifer." We are never given the name of the Dragon. He is called The Satan, The Devil, or The Dragon. Deceiver, Adversary, Accuser, or Evil Reptile.

Now I'm wondering if he got his info from the sources you mentioned in this episode. The Bible is my rock and is the cornerstone of my faith. Beyond that I take everything with a grain of salt. I appreciate all of the FAI content and it's helped to solidify my faith and has helped me with the revelation of Yeshua. @@soulchristen Thanks for the question and in short I have no desire to initiate into any conspiracy theory, secret or otherwise, but I will always look to discuss and learn beyond “the basics.” Joel was addressing the prevalent belief that most of the occult and corrupt religions have their roots in the idea of a union between Nimrod and Semiramis which produced Tammuz. A so-called “unholy trinity.” Joel rightly said that there was no such biblical teaching and such could only be found in extra and pseudo apocryphal writings. He elaborated some about whether Semiramis was an actual living individual at all but the people who adhere to this belief associate “the Queen of Heaven” back through most all female deities beginning at Semiramis. As you know many people take little time in earnest Bible study and just listening to this teaching might take it to say there’s no mention of Tammuz and would be surprised or confused to come across it. I simply meant that if you’re going to teach that the Bible makes no mention of such beliefs or characters, it would avoid any potential confusion by clarifying the scenarios that they are actually referenced. I hope this helps and just so you know Joel is one of my favorite teachers. Have a fantastic day in the LORD.

Thank you Joel for debunking these issues in the last two sessions, they have had an on going impact to my thinking since I found out about them. I'm not devastated, just sad that I thought that these were true like so many people, which emphasise that we also should do research and not just rely on that their teaching is correct because everyone has a bias. I have read a lot of Jack Chick publications over the years and he harps on all that you have talked about a lot. Despite that they are false I haven't held onto them as the only truth and has helped me keep moving and continue to test everything.

This whole deal with nimrod, other gods, Christmas, Easter.. this past year I felt led to do away with man made traditions such as the holidays I just mentioned. Is there proof of Jesus being born on December 25th?. Why does the whole world celebrate Christmas when more than half probably don't even believe in Jesus. Any input on this or any reasons why we should or shouldn't celebrate these holidays. I think it's better if we don't. To live set apart and not to be of the world.

YAH did NOT create religion, HE created mankind to have an intimate relationship with HIS children. Religion was created by man to control man. People of the FAITH need to stop pointing fingers at each other. YAHUSHA HA'MASHIACH (JESUS CHRIST) said, "Hypocrite, take the beam out of your own eye, and then you can remove the speck out of your brother's eye". Another great video brother Joel, and I love you my brothers and sisters. HalleluYAH!!! YAH bless!!!!

Iv never been much of a believer in out there type things but after I seen this "X Factor winner reveals worlds secret religion" you would like to think there isn't a grand conspiracy with people but this would refute every bit of that, idk how you could see this and not think that? I also don't know everything about the Catholic church but I do know there are a ton of facts in this video/lecture called "Did Catholicism create Islam?" They are literally on top of each other in places, the same Symbols, like the Bible says you will know them by their signs and symbols and these 2 videos are full of em

Islam and Mormonism are even more alike. The lies of the Prosperity preachers are the same lie told to Eve in the Garden. The Satan is the most intelligent created being. He knows what works. He teaches many of his human puppets the same things over and over again. False teachings come from the Dragon, not one single man, his wife, and a son...none of whom lived at the same time in history.

Ezekiel 8:13-15 King James Version 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do. 14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz. 15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these What about Michelangelo Sistine chapel painting? Everyone knows that he worshipped pagan idols, if you look at his painting. It shows the his version of god reaching out to Adam, but god has his arm around a woman ( cimaramus) and his finger on a baby boy ( Tammuz), it's really in our face from the Vatican themself. Conspiracy? Well why would god have his arm around a woman unless the religion worships a mother god like the ( world mission cult) or Mormons etc? Also what is the significance of the finger on the baby? I don't think this pagan trinity is of any significance at all to my coming Messiah, but we also can't just throw out things that are right in front of us Nimrod (revolt). All I'm saying is you can see where these things get started from, especially with the Catholic Church which I don't agree started Christianity. I believe A Palestinian Jew named Yeshua started Christianity, and it flourished post pentecost. I don't believe Christianity formed from Roman Catholicism at all, which is why the reformation was much needed. Also the Catholic Church uses all of those outside sources aside from sola scriptura, like the book of Enoch and so on. Shalom 🙏🏼

Yes, it is. Historical Babylon was in Iraq. The eschatological Babylon is a city in a desert that is tied to the same religion as was practiced by the empire that followed first century Rome (Rev 17.) That empire was the Ottomans, and their religion was Islam.

I agree with you partly. The Vatacan IS most certainly involved in ancient pagan religious practices. The Nimrod story being false doesn't give Christians permission to celebrate pagan Christmas, which I believe may be what inspired you to research this. It's still pagan, Nimrod or no.

About 36 years ago as a new believer, I sat under a minister who preached about the End Times. He promoted A. Hislop's book. This minister was so passionate about it that I thought he must be right. I bought the book and even referred to it, but I found that I wasn't fully convinced. It's scary how easily we can be led astray. I am glad I was skeptical. This quality helps me to question what I believe and why. The Word of God has such a short description of Nimrod and the Tower of Babel. It's incredible how many stories have been made up! We believe people simply because they are ministers who are ordained, went to seminary school, etc. Our beliefs based on what is popular will not hold up before G-d. Only His Word will stand forever.

Queen of Heaven is a title given to the Virgin Mary, by Christians mainly of the Catholic Church and, to a lesser extent, in Anglicanism, Lutheranism, and Eastern Orthodoxy. Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, the fathers kindle fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven. And they pour out drink offerings to other gods, to provoke me to anger.👆 Simiramis is also known as Ishtar, Easter, Asherah. 2 Kings 23:4 And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second order and the keepers of the threshold to bring out of the temple of the Lord all the vessels made for Baal, for Asherah, and for all the host of heaven. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron and carried their ashes to Bethel.

At 21 minutes in, you say that Semiraimus lived 1200 years after Nimrod, but you gave no proof for the statement. How do you know this? Second, you mentioned that the Nimrod, Semiraimus, Tammuz legend applied to Catholicism ultimately leads to the "historical doctrine" of the trinity being pagan. What about the fact that the trinity is never directly mentioned in the Bible, the emphasis of the Bible and what made Jewish belief different from all the pagan beliefs contrasted in the Old Testament is the belief in ONE God, and the concept of the trinity being established by extra-biblical councils of man? I'm not trying to be argumentative, hopefully the sincerity of my questions comes through. I'm trying to be, as you say, a good student of the Scripture not of a teacher. Lastly, and I'm not saying this proves the Nimrod, Semiraimus, Tammuz legend, but what about Ezekiel 8:14 which references Tammuz? We know the Bible is true, so we know there was a false pagan god named Tammuz. A lot of teachers bring in extra-biblical information about Baal or Ashtoreth, including you when you talk of the belief that Baal was the cloud rider. What is the extra-biblical information about Tammuz and does it speak to the Hislop legend or is it clearly different?

There is the concept of the two powers, which was standard doctrine in Judaism until ca. 100AD, there are also some references in the OT that are seemingly pointing towards the trinity, a quick go on any search engine should find them
