only the USA and maybe Britain has made all who had ships rich. It was America that opened up sea trade after WW 2. Revelation 18:19 “And they threw dust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea became rich by her wealth, for in one hour she has been laid waste!’ Neom is just a "catch pen" prison with a fancy name.

This wound is the loss of her (the woman/church that rides the beast.) temporal sword (also her captivity), which is the earthly secular world kingdom. This is the image of the beast (that great city), who like Babylon of antiquity, who thinks to usurp church and state craft. The number eight is a metaphor for the resurrection. The eighth is resurrected from a former head of the seven; the 5th head that received a deadly wound. (When he shall go into perdition: this will be the final dispensation of this beast with seven heads, that is a metaphor for satan.) Jesus; (The resurrection; Jn 11:25) Ἰησοῦς/Iēsous = 888 by counting the letter values of the Greek transliteration; I(10), E(8), S(200), O(70), U(400), S(200). In antiquity the mountain was not only a metaphor for a kingdom, but it was also symbolic of the head of a (river) dragon that was symbolic of a river that flows out from a mountain, after the spring thaw and overflowing its banks, spreading out in the form of the dragon's tail. The color is scarlet because it is symbolic of the blood of the saints of the Lord. A woman in prophecy is always a metaphor for a church, in this case (Jezebel) it is the fallen temple of God. The false prophet, a lamb (Christ like) with two horns, and/but will speak like a dragon (a wolf in sheep's clothing), will be the beast (from out of the earth ... the USA) that will make an image unto the first beast from out of the sea, who received a deadly wound and his deadly wound was healed. The two horns are a metaphor for two (equal) kingdoms in one, church and state craft. Medo-Persia also is expressed as having two horns [Dan 8:3], but one was higher, (Persia) and eventually usurps the other. This is the image of the first beast from out of the sea (Papal Rome). Once the wall of separation of church and state is lost, then will the second beast from out of the earth become the image of the first beast, who claims the authority of both church and state. Even so, come Lord Jesus. Amen.

I don't remember Revelations saying Babylon cannot be a current Capitalist Country. By all means, Revelations speaks of M Babylon as a trading City. America has exported more depravity in the Earth than any other.

What scriptures require that Babylon the Harlot be a religious influence? I thought scriptures were mainly implying that Babylon the Great is a global influence of excess, sexual perversion, deception through pharmaceutical/drugs, economic manipulation. America fits Babylon perfectly. Yes many Christians do well and live there, that only more qualifies God's warning "My people come out of her"

If it is a city, NYC fits the bill to me. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from a French artist and is fashioned after Ishtar, the goddess of sex which could be considered the whore of Babylon. All countries flow to it. It is the capital of crime and the worship of money. I do pray for our country and our government every day. God help us wherever M Babylon is. I don’t think it matters to my salvation where it is. I’m seeing this is the end times and I am joyfully awaiting the coming of my Lord.

I was alluding to the fact that we not leave her geographically, but spiritually. And yes, physically, by not partaking in acceptance of what she does. But we are at home here regardless as to what is going on around us.

What most Christians miss are that there are TWO Babylons: One is daughter Babylon and the other is her mother. The ‘hints’ for this appear mainly in Revelation when we read “woe, woe,” and “fallen, fallen”. Daughter Babylon, the ‘Eagle’, is destroyed first TWO YEARS into the 70th week. She does have a city which rules the world and ‘Babylon New York’ was named intentionally for this reason by Jews (ahem!). Her mother, the ‘Lion’, falls at the end of the 70th week. The reason no has or can ‘flee’ yet is because the place to flee to (Judea) does not yet take non Jews for immigration-it will be the only place of safety from the events after daughter Babylon’s destruction. In fact, the message will go out (at the beginning of the 70th week) to flee there but the truth is no one in their right mind will go there because the Psalm 83/Isaiah 17 Middle East nuclear war would have preceded that message (which comes out of Judea). Christians will primarily believe they will be protected by God (rapture, etc..) rather than take this message to flee by one of God’s prophets. In any case, only the United States and Britain match the criteria of Mystery Babylon both symbolically and literally. And yes, the United States does export a religion. It’s an atheistic (ideology) called cultural Marxism. The United States has tried to push this ideology on many countries. It is in fact the ‘red spirit’ which drives her actions and the vast majority of her population have accepted this Godless for of religion. It’s why we now see ‘wokeism’ being pushed by theUS government-it takes the ‘form of a religion’ without ‘the spirit of God’ as we read in Timothy. It claims virtue without God. This is the religion of cultural Marxism which the population of the United States has largely accepted. It’s the reason why most women in this country have sex before marriage OR divorce because they’ve found a better option. Just look at what Hollywood puts out today-those are the ‘values’ of the United States. Hence, God WILL give people the choice to flee from her very deserved destruction.

I do believe you are wrong. And when the Lord talks about fleeing it is to those in Judea to flee to the desert! Why would any one flee to Judea when Israel is surrounded by the antichrist and his armies. You do not have a clear view of eschatology. Blessings

One thing for sure is that the United States as a nation will suffer judgement by the hand of Yahweh because of its wickedness and the shedding of innocent blood. As the Roman Empire fell because of its debauchery and pride the U.S. will suffer the righteous indignation of Gods wrath. If the U.S. does not suffer judgement because of its debauchery and injustices then Yahweh owes Sodom and Gomorrah a apology. Sodom had no bibles 😢

I very much appreciate the FAI ministry, and both Joel and Dalton particularly… and yes, I hold strongly to the belief that the United States of America, the Worlds lone military and economic super power, is Mystery Babylon. I do so for many reasons, I can itemize a few - but I want to say that for those who don’t believe this, I honestly think that your biggest stumbling block is your citizenship there. You love a lot of things about American people and history, so do I. I also loved a lot of things Roman, Greek, Persian, Egyptian and I’m sure I would find many admirable things in Assyria and Babylon. How could I not? Each was, in its epoch, the greatest nation on Earth. The lone super power of its age. Reasons to believe America is Mystery Babylon: 1). It is the Global superpower. 2). It sits on many waters. 3). It rules over many peoples and tongues and tribes and nations (literally). 4). It is exporting the greatest false religion of our age: Progressivism. Let’s be honest, when Christ said “you cannot serve both God and Mammon”, he didn’t mean Mammon worship was actively taking place in Jerusalem. What He meant was that people served money - profit (which Mammon was the god of) in place of God. Now “the church” of the west serves Social Justice, LGBTQ2S+, Feminism, DEI… it serves a different master. 5). The Statue of Liberty IS Libertas / the Roman goddess modelled after Ishtar. Look it up. Too long to go through the history but it’s undeniable. 6). America is not the beacon of light it has proclaimed itself to be. It actively promotes war for profit. It overthrows governments for gain. Even democratically elected ones, and installs puppets. That last is a hard realization. I grew up believing “we were the good guys”. I wish it were true. We are bloody pirates, robbing the world blind and draping ourselves in the flag doing it…. 7). Only at Americas fall would the nations weep… because the fall of America would devastate the global economy. Utterly destroy it. Believe it.

Is it possible that the US is A Babylon, but not THE Babylon-harlot from Revelation? I do think progressivism is a kind of cult, and the 'goddess of personal liberty' is some kind of principality or something (hence the personal freedom we see being used to promote certain agendas as virtues). But when you look at end times prophecy through the lens of being Jerusalem-centric, it does seem that the US doesn't really fit the bill (or all the fingers in the glove, as Joel is wont to say). We are still Israel's ally, as far as I know, even though we've done some stupid things - like give money to Iran. We're also not in a desert - I never really considered that part in the text as being that important, but it's in there for a reason. The Islamic-beast system makes good sense to me, and this is coming from someone who has teetered on the possibility that the US could be the harlot of Revelation for a very long time. The weird architectural layout of Washington, DC also weirds me out - it definitely doesn't seem very Christian. Idk - I think it's possible FAI is right about this. I'm not saying we're the best nation ever - we've done a lot of bad things. Even if we aren't THE Babylon, our fall would still have an impact on the world, when looking at end times prophecy. Either way, we should still keep praying for our country - I think that's the most important thing.

@@cruddddddddddddddd Look at it this way: If indeed we are at or near the end of the age (and that’s certainly what I think most of us believe, including those at FAI), then we need to ask the question that has plagued western Biblical scholars for generations: “Where is America in Biblical prophecy?” America is the most powerful and culturally influential country on the planet. It MUST be in Scripture, because the most powerful nation MUST have a role to play somewhere? There have been three major theories to explain away Americas seeming absence: 1). America is a beacon on a hill. The gospel went forth from America and America is a predominantly Christian nation so America is Raptured before the breaking of the seals. It is literally absent because it’s in heaven. None of us believe this. 2). America loses its power somehow before the end, and becomes a cultural backwater and other nations rise to take its place (not via war or destruction, just organically). I don’t believe this. America would never allow the world to push it to the side, culturally or financially, and militarily America spends 37% of the Worlds total military spending, more than the next seven highest military budgets of competing nations combined. America has overthrown governments for even suggesting that they should drop the petrodollar. 3). The end time Judgements of God aren’t global in nature, they are regional. America doesn’t figure in prophecy because of geography, and when Christ comes back to rule from Jerusalem, it will only impact the Middle East. Life in North America will go on. I refuse to believe that. 4). America IS in Bible Prophecy. It’s right there and you can’t miss it. It isn’t named because it didn’t exist then…. It’s true identity was a mystery…. But it’s spiritual nature was something the world had seen before… In the Babylonian Empire. I know Joel would dismiss the interpretation, but I don't think the word "sorcery/ pharmakia" and its connection to pharmaceuticals are coincidental. We literally saw the whole world brought to a standstill by that sorcery recently. That is unprecedented. @amypatterson9851 I agree with you. Unfortunately, I do believe that America is the Mystery Babylon found in the Book of Revelations. I believe that God allowed a shift of power to occur from Israel to Great Britain and ultimately The United States of America in order to fulfill a purpose. That purpose always relates to Israel and the people of Israel, who I believe were cursed according to the Book of Deuteronomy. Another people were to rise to power in order for those curses to play out and the true Israelites were to be a people brought down into submission. The individuals who lived out those curses are the people who the modern world refers to as "African American." They are the true people of God and America will pay the ultimate price for her mistreatment of them and Israel will be exaulted as the Holy land upon Christ's second arrival.

@@amypatterson9851 well, there is plenty of desert in the middle of America. And the culture of anti-Jesus has quenched the voice of believers all across this nation. And yes, so much false doctrine. When the nations stand afar off and cry alas alas when they see the smoke of her burning saying, “that city, that mighty city! That made us rich. Who will buy our merchandise anymore?”(paraphrasing). We buy China’s merchandise! There is a blindness that is pernicious in this day and age and it is rooted primarily in pride and vanity. People will never open their eyes until it’s too late. And destruction from the Almighty will come like a thief in the night. It will be a total surprise to the world. And yes, every finger of the glove does not clearly fit, it is all rather obscure and hard to decipher, but so much of it fits that it cannot be ignored. And yes, I am in full agreement, the Bible does not speak about a one world false religion. I’m not exactly sure where they are getting that, but it is a false doctrine and a misinterpretation of scripture. The true meaning of things is far different than the prevailing popular interpretations. Only the Lord can clean up the mess we have made. And He will do it with a swift and powerful hand, and He doesn’t need man’s help in the matter. Man is the problem.

(Wilderness) The part about many waters is also explained right in the text. The waters are not water. The are people groups, languages and nationalities. Islam (Mecca) fits. Especially the part about the Woman Babylon being drunk on the blood of martyrs. What other city is a religious seat that also DANCES IN THE STREETS when a Christian is killed in the name of a false god? The Beast will eventually destroy the harlot city. Muslim prophets have predicted that Turkey will destroy Mecca in the end days. What CITY is tied to one specific ANTICHRIST religion? Progressivism is antibiblical, but not overtly antichrist. it hides that aspect. The term antichrist has two definitions. There is only one City known as the center or "mother" of a religion that is antichrist by both definitions. Islam denies the deity and sonship of Jesus and the Fatherhood of God, it worships a different Jesus (Issa, is not the son of God, is not God, and never died.) Of the powers able and willing to demolish Israel, only ONE is an ancient enemy of Israel, was once the empire that followed the Roman empire and is reviving in our time, has a history of marking people to show if they have converted to Islam, so that severe economic and other laws can be used against the non-converts. Only ONE religious city is tied by religion to the only power that can (and has twice) stopped the Euphrates River (Turkey.) What power already has an image that speaks several times a day, forcing all who hear to immediately bow and recite a prayer to a false god? Not the USA.

Some of the claims Jonathan makes about Ishtar: Ishtar is a pagan babylonian goddess of sexuality and war Ishtar describes herself saying, "I am a woman, I am a man" Men dressed like women while serving in Ishtar's temple Ishtar has the ability to change a man into a woman and a woman into a man. Already we can see the themes of gender confusion, trans sexuality, sexual immorality and so on. What lies behind the fierce battles over sexuality and gender right now might well be the turn away from God and the subsequent worship of Ishtar manifested in people's lifestyles. Paganism is alive in America more so as Christianity is on the decline. I'm aware that other nations affirm sexual and gender deviances. However, I feel like America is more adamant than other nations to impose their ideologies onto countries that do not affirm them. Mystery Babylon is influential, and so is America.

The Statue was supposed to be installed in Philadelphia, but they insisted on the New York harbor. @@christianmichael8 you have that backwards. One doesn’t interpret the Old Testament through the New, but the New through the Old. Christ and His disciples and the early church had No New Testament. Letting the “New interpret the Old” is how so many churches adopted so many heretical ideas in the first place.

Maybe they're one in the same though. The same truth is to exist through out the Words entirety. You do actually need the NT and Jesus explanation of the parables to accurately understand OT passages like Isaiah 29, Isaiah 27, Dueteronomy 32 etc etc. The list goes on and on. God speaks in parables

@@christianmichael8 I agree, 100%. My issue with the “NT interprets the OT” doctrine (and it is a doctrine) is that I have seen it corrupt theology. Supercessionism sprang from that idea. “Jesus was a Hippy” sprang from that idea (Jesus was loving and tolerant and God is love ergo God loves everyone and the God of the OT (who Judges) is a different God - ala Andy Stanley. There is a clear danger in that belief. Christ is coming as the Righteous Judge, and He promised that many (MANY) in that day will say to Him “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name and in Your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?” That’s “Christians” (ino) who are saying that to Him. After all, Who else calls Jesus Lord? And what does He say to them? “Truly truly I say to you, I never knew you. Depart from me, workers of Lawlessness.” That’s a mighty damning indictment. And largely it isn’t preached in churches. Churches more often teach that the Law is done away with. Maybe not entirely, but the Sabbath Day has been abominated since Constantine decreed the venerable day of the Sun (Mithras) replace it, in his successful attempt to dejudaize the Church. Cut it off from its Hebrew Roots. Never, ever, ever think the end of the book determines what the beginning meant. That’s how you land in a whole heap of trouble, reinventing the Old to make it fit your presuppositions of what the New means.

Joel, I wanted to re-visit and address your criticism of America being Mystery Babylon and namely your sentiment that, “well, if America is Mystery Babylon, why don’t you leave?”. Does the Lord say “leave”? Does He say “Go out of Her”? He says “come out of Her.”. Basically saying “come to Me.”. Which is what the Lord says, “come to me all ye who are heavy ladened, and I shall give you rest.”. Reminds me of the days of Noah. What does your Bible say Genesis 7:1 says? “Come” or “Go”? I’m sure it says “go”. But the Lord said to Noah “Come” into the ark, indicating that the Lord was in the ark with Noah, foreshadowing the fact that the Lord Himself is the ARK. “Father, I pray, that you keep them from the world. Not that they should be taken out of the world, but keep them from the evil.”. Think about the last words of the Lord Himself in Revelation…He says not to change His Word. Oh my goodness! Thank you! I was just reading the letters to the churches and thinking about the phrase 'He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.' So your comment jumped out at me. I've read those chapters 20 times, but it finally dawned on me that Jesus is telling ALL of us to hear what the Spirit says to ALL the churches. These aren't just letters to 1st century churches facing tribulation. These are also instructions for end time believers. All of us can learn from the admonitions given in each letter.

as a person living outside of US i can speak for the many that the rest of the world still see the US as the beacon of hope against the wicked nations. the US exist is because of God's will be it as a blessing but also as God's hand of judgement throughout the history of mankind. i agree with Joel that US is far from perfect but at least US has always confess about her short comings. Coming out from Babylon does not necessarily mean leaving a geographical region. Remember that Peter referred to Christians as sojourners and exiles 1Pe 1:1, 2:11. These are people living where they are in the nations while living their lives for a city not built with hands. I believe the call to come out of Babylon is a spiritual call. Not a U-haul call. I would also add that the USA is the single greatest source exporting "another gospel" or a "false gospel", NAR, and Prosperity teachings. This infection has not discriminated among denominations. The infection of these false teachings is everywhere and has infected missions really bad. The USA may not be Babylon, but I can't say for sure. The reality is, she sure acts like Babylon. You just don't get it. The revelations is not some type of warning, it is an event awaiting to happen as envisioned. "come out of her my people" is a statement to get the f..k out of there. There's no saving America for what it's to face in the future.

I always learn something new from FAI, either about the scriptures, history, or about people. This video helped me understand my own country (USA) and the culture/politics that are drowning our nation. I once heard some where that when crisis happens - Americans go to the church to pray, while English goes to the pub. I hope that we will remember our Judeo-Christian roots that are based on good tenants, despite of how people in the past have done wrong.

When the power is in the people to decide what is right in there own sight. Then the power is not in Jesus. God told Samuel they have not rejected you they have rejected ME. Call it out...

During a 3 day fasting and prayer in 2021. I read this chapter in Revelations ( i have read Revelation so many times in my lifetime) and God showed me it was the USA. It was so clear and He reminded me of a dream he gave in in Dec 2000. Its long but it was me in a USA that was completely destroyed by war. I am really careful about being deadset on beliefs of end times cause the Jewish nation missed Jesus first coming cause they were so set on how they interpreted the Messiah. That us Christians cannot be so deadset on timeline of 2nd coming of Christ. One things I do believe is we will go thru a Tribulation or at least have to make a choice about receiving the mark.

I personally don’t have an opinion but if you take into consideration the things that are going viral in the United States to the point of public schools teaching things that have never been taught before and changing policies to a point where females can’t feel uncomfortable with males in the locker room because that’s hateful and bullying based on how the individual feels. Things are declining and decaying quickly here. I mean the list goes on and on. This is where constitutional freedoms have led. To protect wrongful things and put more stress and confusion everywhere. And Christian’s are hated here for practicing their faith and being logical in the midst of it all.

I've always kept my eyes and view opened when it came to this until very recently when I watched Rabbi Jonathan Cahn specifically on this issue. And, since New York is the leading state of Jewish people it makes since that the false religions being represented there are very numerous. Just look at the statue recently placed there. And, since God wants the Jewish people back in Israel, makes since a catastrophe worst than 911 will strike there. But Jonathan Cahn uses old testament scriptures to help connect what is really going on in America. The possession, of Ba'al, Ishtar and Molech all false idols the Jewish people surrendered to. While I always try to keep an open mind, I believe it's something ya'll should look into and consider because it makes a lot of sense.

I have always figured Babylon started with Nebuchadnezzar statue and then all of the proceeding kingdoms we're all Babylonian. The Kingdom we are in now is the feet. A left and right no matter which side you pick you go in the same directions. It feels like a choice but it's not and it rules over us. I'd like to learn more about the daughter? I've really enjoyed the opening sequence of these videos - the Gustave Dore etchings, especially. It sets a cool, but very serious tone, and gets me in the right headspace. I've really enjoyed this series - I appreciate the down-to-earth and not-far-out interpretations of end times prophecy. Some of the things you say remind me of things I've read by Michael Heiser - getting back into an ancient mindset to be able to understand what the scriptures mean. I think that can be hard to do, when you've got a filter in your mind that sifts anything that doesn't fit with more traditional or popular views (or your own opinion). I appreciate your points of view AND your artistic flairs, lol.

This could possibly line up with the fact that the US has had its hand in middle-eastern affairs for a very long time (which is why many hate us). I really don't know, though - FAI could be 100% correct. Either way, my plan is to keep following their ministry.

The "Desert" is any place far removed from civilization. The "new world" was a "desert" in this respect, and can be considered such in the context of this scripture, I think!

Thanks for this understanding, it's been a rough time for me trying to find the Lord's will in my life. I feel like I've pulled around by crazy conspiracy minds trying to understand Revelation and other books of the Bible. I'm only 30 and it's like I'm this confused, bumbling Mr. Magoo in the scriptures. Having had been under bad leadership, it's hard to find a church to settle into.

It is true that there are many wonderful, generous and Godly American people, but as someone living in Africa I can tell you it is a well-known fact that the American government's giving is directly related to how much a nation's policies benefit American interests and align with American values. Right now those values are far from Godly. A large part of the world follows in step with America, whether it's abortion, woke ideologies, or climate agendas or any other globalist agenda. They would rather risk offending God than offending America. When a nation's government contradicts American interests, be sure they will be removed either by coup or by invasion, or be starved by sanctions. Of course, the US would be happy to fund abortions, provide weapons, pharmaceuticals, support dictators and provide aid either directly or through NGO's like the Soros and Gates foundations to those nations that do behave. I don't take away from what Americans have done for the spreading of the gospel. I am grateful for all of those that answered the call. But to paraphrase Paul, if God would judge Israel for their sins, would he not do the same to any other nation that turned from Him? President Obama publicly proclaimed America is no longer a Christian nation. I don't see any clear evidence to prove him wrong. Where America has intervened, they have left destruction and poverty in their wake. What nation in the last few decades is better off thanks to American intervention?

When the Lord says, “Come out of her, my people, that her sins be not upon you”, this is not a request or a suggestion, it is the word of the Lord. It is like Jesus saying to Lazarus, “Come forth!”. It is like the Lord saying, “Let there be light,”, and there was light. When people die, we say “the Lord called them home”. We will go without thinking, without a choice, in the twinkling of an eye, at the command of the Lord.

Okay this was a pretty interesting video so who is the New Babylon then. What country fits the biblical description most in your opinion then, have you made a video on you conclusion?

I would add that if the Untied States can find enough similarities with Babylon of Revelation 18 it should be a cause to pause and be concerned. We should consider how much it has influenced the overly politicized church here. Simply put that if there are stark similarities to be made we here should be concerned about the influence here and from my experience on other cultures globally.The often high mindedness and arrogance is a great evil in the eyes of God

"I've already made it clear - I'm a cheerleader for the United States." You got so animated and offended at the "slanderous" things said about our country. You spoke of how generously we give to charity, as a people and a government. God would rather we give mercy than a sacrifice. I'm sure you consider us to be strong, free, powerful, and good. Do you consider the history of our nation in the light of God's preference for mercy? You spent the majority of this video just speaking about all the statistics around our "goodness." Perhaps we are "the single greatest source of the gospel proclamation in the world," but has it occurred to you that this gospel *may not* have its actual source in the Spirit of Christ..but in the spirit of anti-christ? 40 minutes into a 1 hour video, and any careful hearer can recognize what is wrong with this by what is missing more than what is there. There is no attempt to present any balance, there are almost no references to any alternative view beyond a very shallow and vaguely explained example or two at the beginning - the rest of this video is just an argument that ventures well into the territories of politics, race, right vs left, Christianity vs Islam, and the compromises available and allowable to an American Christian as regards their relationship with money and the economy. "Who should be apologizing, the United States or Iran? But we always have to grovel first...this is cringy." He vents about how capitalism is just about freedom and our creative connection to the God who created us and then says, "Just call it freedom then, because I believe in Freedom." At a later point in the video, he scoffs at the suggestion from one of these authors that we worship "Liberty" in the idol of the statue placed in New York. Listen to him! The speakers argument against the possibility that America is Mystery Babylon isn't based on any scriptural understanding (that he does have, no doubt) - but based on a shallow and superficial positioning of America as "the good guy" and American people as "good people," all while half-heartedly glossing over any historical viewpoint that might contradict that. Hear him! Hear all of them. Listen to these debates and notice what is always missing. There is never a good argument against the position of the person speaking, and to make certain that you come to the speakers conclusion, there is never an effort to present one. Why is it like this? No matter who I view, or whether or not I even agree with them, there seems to be a deceptive component to all debate over these matters of doctrine. Perhaps God wishes we spent our time talking about the love his Son showed in saving us from this current season of judgment, wherever that may fall. "Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies." Notice that the scriptures don't specify a particular type of knowledge, just knowledge in general. If you check your own heart, you'll find this is probably as true for you as it was for the first writer of those words. There is power in the name of Jesus, there is no power in these debates but to divide, confuse, or elevate our own understanding. Godspeed to you.

I think there're two Jesus's preached now. One is all positive, coquettish, skittish, the other is righteous and faithful. Mystery Babylon preaches the first, the remnant trusts in the second.

I agree with and appreciate your method here, and especially the "glove" type of evaluation for Mystery Babylon. Just some food for thought, isn't it interesting how some of the world's most powerful cities are not owned by the country, but considered separate entities? Vatican City, Washington DC, New York, City of London, Monoco, CERN.... I find that curious.... Like, put those cities together, which are on many waters, and you have quite the system of financial, spiritual, political, scientific and economic power. Of course, Shanghai China, to me, seems to fit the glove quite well.

I really appreciate your common sense reasoning. For a long long time there have been established theories about the identity of Babylon (Mystery, the Great, etc). But really, these theories are actually filled with holes and essentially we are saying by that, that God’s puzzle pieces don’t really have to make sense. But your ideas are bringing it back to a critical baseline and that’s needed to find the true identity of Babylon.

You need to pray to God for WISDOM and understanding because this gentleman in the video is absolutely correct about the so-called good old US of A.

I like to disagree with Joel about his assertion that the US (or the West) is not a bastion of false religion or a harlot. Mystery Babylon is the source of all false religion and worship. But false religion and worship does not have not have the traditional form of religion. Atheism or secularism also is a form of religion with its own gods, doctrines, dogmas, saints, holy days, festivals, etc. Just because humanist secularism doesn't look like a traditional religion does not mean it is not a false worship. In fact, they truly worship something/someone other than the one true God. They worship men, they worship themselves, in their own minds, they have become their own gods. And this humanist secularism is being promoted and pushed by the West collectively, and Europe and US are at its forefront. All the weird things that the American society is accepting now is being pushed on other countries if they want to receive aid (money) from the US. So we can clearly see the West is exporting these false religion/ideologies into the world. Another aspect is the concept that harlot has to do with trade and it ties into the export/import of not only goods, but ideas. Being a harlot, she won't conquer any one with brute force, but with seduction and financial benefits. That is the MOD of the Decadent (Progressive) West, and the US is the leader of this pact that uses such "soft" power. Exporting "democracy", "freedom", "rights" and establish commercial relations, buying good, giving out aids, money to the corrupt kings of the earth. I do not think that the US is the Mystery Babylon. I think it is same Mystery Babylon that started way in the beginning in Babylon with the Nimrod and has passed down through the ages until now. It is more than just the US. And undeniably, the US, the West is a great part of this Mystery Babylon. At least a very powerful part of the US is part of this thing. The working relationship between the harlot and the beast starts way in the beginning since the first Babylonian Empire. One is the religious/cultural/worship system, the other is the political/military system. The harlot can be compared to Brave New World, while the beast can be compared to 1984. But they work together to corrupt and rule the world. So instead of any particular country or city to be the mystery Babylon, it has to be the aggregate of this religious/ideological belief system that worships anything other than God. And yes I do agree this system has a physical and tangible city/state that is the main representative. It will be very interesting to see how God will turn the beast against the harlot and use the beast to bring down judgement on the harlot! Even so, come Lord Jesus come!

I'm a little confused, according to my Bible in Revelation that Great City is Jerusalem (Sodom & Egypt). But when reading Rev 17 It seems to be describing Spiritual Babylon (The Vatican) & Rev 18 seems to be describing commercial Babylon (USA). But America doesn't make anything anymore. But It seems like a a hodgepodge of the three, Jerusalem, Vatican & New York.

If we go with the growing belief that Revelation was most likely written approx. AD 65 rather than the more traditional date of AD 95 then yes Historic Jerusalem is most definitely Mystery Babylon the Great, the whore, the Mother of Harlots etc. The 7 Kings in Rev 17: 10 are referring to Rome so they are most likely 7 Roman Emperors. The 1st one is Julius Caesar, 2nd Augustus right thru to the 6th which is Nero, Galba is the 7th. Revelation was written by John during the Reign of Nero. I've been to a US-based church begore, then left. Now I sometimes meet old acquaintances. And one treat, attitude I see in them is contempt, disdain. You know they love to talk about subleties of Gods love, grace, etc, while by behaviour they deny it. They think it's something like confidence in God, toughness, strength and so on. But that isn't nature of God's grace. I think by nature that arrigant attitude corresponds with Revelation 18:7, associated with haughty self-righteousness while supposing as if it were from God.

"ONE NATION UNDER GOD" . This Nation (America) Was Founded on Judeau Christian Values.

If all the fingers don't fit then you must acquit??? Well that O.J. reference does nothing to support your argument, doesn't it? Please show how the Muslims have the world's largest ports with many nations living there? Please give more biblical references for your rejection of the U.S. as mystery Babylon. I think I could be more convinced by your arguments if you used more Scripture. Thank you.

Understand however if you'll check out the other sessions in this series I think you'll change your mind. It took a couple of sessions to change my mind I also think if you've noticed how fast things are unraveling especially with the American $ and the dependency on oil and the USA losing thier grip on the oil production and trade I think it's not going to take as long as ppl think. Joel has done an amazing job on this issue unfortunately it can't all be recognized or understood in just one short session God bless you guys ❤️ 🙏 and Maranatha

I would consider Saudi Arabia’s new mega-city, the Line or the developing City of Neom, to be a contender for the title of the New Babylon. Located in NW Saudi Arabia at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba, close to the Jordanian border. Saudi Arabia has the financial wealth to build this international city, away from the prying eyes of Allah/Islam. Remember, Mount Sinai is located in NW Saudi Arabia, not on the Sinai Peninsula (been there).

Except it fits none of the criteria mentioned in the Bible. People think they can change reality and declare otherwise like their Pagan ancestors, but no, end times Babylon is clearly the United States. If God is righteous, then the US will be punished for its sinful depravity.

Bias is like a fire running out of control. But America does give so much in Charity. I get messages from others from others of other countries all the time.

Much respect and love. Again, y'all are much appreciated. However i strongly disagree here. I'm not sure how you are taking that "harlot" absolutely has to represent "the worlds largest formal religion other than Christianity", then rule out the fact usa is the only place that fulfills other aspects of this mystery. To meet the definition of harlot $ and immorality have to be involved. God does not think in terms of formal religions. A large portion of the american church serves another god that says "in this we trust" right on it along with blatant religious symbols that is in fact the religion of the majority of the elites and more and more openly so(this is not conspiracy). Baal has gotten what he wants by way of sacrifice. there is nothing more holy,pure, consecrated, reserved for a very special purpose more so than these little ones. No one i know counts as a "saint" by definition, in reality at this point...but these little ones whos parts have been sold and profited from, consumedand, used in religious rituals of the powerful(again, not conspiracy open your eyes). There is no other place this world will not look upon in astonishment and mourning at its destruction. She falls before she is destroyed. She is falling. I personally think America is mystery Babylon, it makes sense when the harlot it being described, and how all nations will mourn her destruction. I don’t personally see any other nation fitting that bill
