Seems to be a few people that don’t understand the HWC so here it is ………… When can you enter this hatched area? When exceptional circumstances arise (for example, the need to pass a temporary obstruction or a slow-moving vehicle), you may drive on a hatched area when you're sure that it's safe to do so. Where hatched areas are bordered by a solid line, you mustn't enter the area except in an emergency

I used to ride long time ago and yes of course I did this. Until some daydreamer woke up and remembered he should be taking the right he is virtually past and throws a 90 degree without warning. I did Superman proud the way I flew through the air. Stay safe fella.

This is why you observe and choose what a good idea and what’s not. Only direction of travel she had was forwards or backwards. I was relatively safe and I say relatively simply as I have cars on the road with me 🤣 hope you’re little mishap didn’t put you off 😎👌🏼 keep it rubber side down 👊🏻

@@alanbreeze4731 further more let’s get the “legal quote” as follows This is because Rule 130 of the Highway Code states that if the area is bordered by solid white lines then you must not enter it except in an emergency. If instead it is bordered by a broken white line then you are permitted to enter the area, but only if it is necessary and you can see that it is safe to do so

I'm so happy lane splitting or filtering is illegal in my country.....and I am a biker....how do you see a bike coming behind in a second....you can't have your eyes on the rear mirrors all the time....very dangerous law you have...

That’s your opinion and that’s fine. Clearly the country you live in does not care about stats and the safety of bikers. It’s safer for us to filter between vehicles and not sit at the back. Getting crushed between two vehicles because they don’t pay attention ain’t fun. As for a dangerous law. Read the stats on deaths in countries that don’t allow filtering and them that allow it before you judge. 😎👌🏼

@@LifeOfEnc Don't know the stats, but I never heard of bike being crushed between other vehicles...you filtering in narrow gaps almost scraping cars are in constant danger to be crushed...what is the hurry buddy?

The amount of motorbike accidents caused due to the lack of attention by a car driver is astounding she was probably sat there day dreaming as most do when sat in a queue and annoyed that he could carry on and as a car driver you should be well aware of your surroundings at all times and this isn't what the post was about anyway it was her moaning about her car as she thought he was too close 🤣 she probably needs to think about that when she's up the ass end of a biker
