I love the song that don McLean wrote about American pie .I was a young girl. But I now understand what the song means as a tribute to the three singers who died in the plane wreck Feb 3 1959. The three who died buddy holli, Richie valence , big bopper will be missed i was just a baby, but will never forget that history and what it means. Great job don mclean.
