Nice episode! Precision does help with spells rigth? So it´s probably not the worst a mage can´t get all things considered. Although being also holy 2 and without research I don´t imagine he will put it to much use.

precision isn't that bad for an H2. H2's primary battlefield job is banishment after all, and most banishments have mediocre accuracy.

I'm no expert, but I've been trying to play EA Xibalba in a single-player game lately, so if MA Xibalba is at all similar, you should be _glad_ you neighbor them, I'd think. You'd certainly be glad if _I_ were the one playing them! Heh, heh. I mean, my current game is going great - much better than my previous two attempts (which were OK, but I was experimenting, and I just wasn't happy with the way they were going). However, as far as I can tell, EA Xibalba can be very strong, but that takes awhile. And early on - meaning for quite a long time - I'm always wishing that my neighbors stay peaceful! :) And you _do_ have that bull... But then, as I say, I don't really know what I'm doing. I wish I could watch this from BallinStallin's perspective, but I don't think he's on KZread, is he? But I know that Perun is playing this game, too, and I really enjoy seeing the same game from multiple angles. Thanks for the videos!

somehow youtube decided that this was dominions 4. @GeneralConfisonPlays, you should mabe indicate to youtube that it is the 5.

I dont think GC is 100 % accurate in his analysis. I do suspect a sufficient number of Bakemono-Sho will in fact stab his bull until its dead. At least before it learns some magic. Let me see.. 48 str 15 piercing hits per turn? yeah the bull is toast.

But "sufficient" will be a very high number, because the bull will murder them like flies. It'll hit 6 gobbos with every trample movement, dealing 17 armor piercing damage vs their 9 hp and 6 prot. Human heavy infantry have decent odds of surviving a single trample, bakemono do not. They also have bad morale, so there's a decent chance they'll flee. Meanwhile, 15 pierce vs 22 prot only deal damage about 25% of hits; enough that they can kill the bull if given time, but they may not have that time. Like sure, 300 bakemono will kill it, but a hundred I'd be more doubtful of.

@@Mewobiba A 25 % chance to hurt the bull is also very bad then where are close to 48 hits / turn. Especially since the bull isnt fatique neutral. Its quickly going to eat critts. So as long as they dont break a 100 should murder it easily. And if the bull is unluckly with afflictions as low as 40-50 could do so.

did some slight testing with yari bakemono-sho led by bakemono generals against the bull in neutral dominion. The bull consistently wins over 80, sometimes wins and sometimes loses vs 100, and consistently loses vs 150.

@@Mewobiba I love that you guys test this stuff. Seriously. Otherwise, it's just opinion, and it's hard to tell just from remembering past experiences in the game. Data, though, is evidence! :) But then, I think I like the comments to Dom 5 videos as much as I enjoy watching these games, themselves. Thanks!

@@Mewobiba I guess in the end the morale does become an issue. I did calculate the spears doing significant damage as soon as there was a full surround.

What happened to this game? I must know what happened!
