even 4 months later...still wondering where this game went, checking to see if anything new has been uploaded to the yt channel...wth happened? Attica has left this plane of existence to chase a mysterious sound only they can hear?

Super fun stuff. Really excited to see Hinnom and Helheim duke it out. I feel like Caelum and Atlantis are only really capable of playing spoiler now. Maybe if they worked together? We'll see!

Small fix - there is no Spirit Sight in Helheim bless, black horsed elves have it by default.

I reckoned early on that Hinnom is going to be among the final two powers. He was blasting full tilt into endgame, and nobody really interfered with it in a meaningful way. Helheim’s going to need to leverage his conquest’s resources quickly to match it, before Daemon bombs start dropping... Not even sure what Helheim’s endgame plan is...

Rip rus and ermor. I think ermor just took an easy target in sauromatia and went for it. I recall sauromatia revealed they were building a fort on the border with ermor which was the potential catalyst for that war. Although given how honest sauromatia was it might have been in their interest to leave them be. Leaving a weakish opponent around is safer than leaving a strong one. Defending against hellheim was always going to be a priority for them given hellheims huge borders. Diplomacy might have helped ermor in a few ways but I don't think they were terribly keen on doing that much. I'm not sure ermor would have been able to accomplish much alone in a potential war with hellheim earlier in the game without extra backup. And I don't think anyone really tried to prod hellheim except atlantis, so they had a mostly free run of the game to just steadily build up forces and attack thrones. They were weakened but given their forces have glamour it's hard for people to estimate just how strong they really were. So ermor was just kind of in a bad position. He really needed to push stronger diplomatic ties with his neighbours. Perhaps even building an alliance with sauromatia. But the plans of mice and men oft go awry.

Ermor just got greedy I think. He played well, but shit happens.

Does anyone in Dom5 use 2h bows and crossbows as a mass-destruction weapon? Seems like with const6 simple scout with an upkeep less then a sacred could fire 13 damage 8 arrows for 5 air gems (war bow). Or some give feeble-minded. There is a trueshot bow for hitting commanders. At constr4 there seems to be a golden arbalest at a1e1 crosspath. Amazing damage, 1 attack per round (unlike other crossbows) and good precision

Hello. Stopped by for some dwarf fortress ideas. Hes a tip for your sound quality. Your mic sounds find but the room is louder than you to me. All you need is some blankets placed around and above like a fort when you were a kid. Room noise gone.

Anyone on his Patreon Discord? Any insight into where he went?
