It looks like Rus's overly aggresive tactics have put his back against a wall. Raiding a few of Hinnom provinces was not worth going to war with arguably the largest nation. Especially when already at war.
I wonder why isn't Caelum talking to Hinnom. Talking to Hinnom might have allowed him to recover some provinces as well as potentially helping setup Hinnom to fight Hellheim before Caelum falls.
Please fix the stuttering screen scrolling if you can.
