    If this version of cannonier showed up against adesanya, it would've been a much more competitive fight. Kind of sad, to me, because this shows that cannonier has this in him and really could become a champ. But after watching aldana freeze against nunes i'm again reminded that, somehow, these dominant champs just have the ability to totally intimidate their opponents to freeze. Let's see how rodriguez does, because if he also freezes then there has to be some major psychological issue there.

    @@what4617 Im going on impressions rather than hard facts. How tall is Izzy ? The tallest size frame that exists for any weight class is not the minimum size fir teh weight class or average. Its the largest for the weight class. I doubt if i looked id find that 50 percent of middle weights are taller and longer reach. OK so ive checked, His height is 6 foot, and a lot of guys in top15 MW are 6 foot 1 a few taller. Adesanya is 6ft 4. I guess you could say hes avergae height for the class. Hes got the longest reach bar adesanya though hes actually very near the top for reach. And the shredded physique you reference i believe grants him above average power, ergo hes not average. I was expecting him to ne slightly taller when I checked but leaving adesanya out at 6 foot 4 the variation is very small in height between the top 15. reach however varies a lot and jared is second. Wikipedia says Jared is 6 foot.

  • @what4617

    @what4617

    @daviddines479 Reach doesn't equate to size Max Holloway has a shorter Reach than Jose Aldo an Volk but he's got a bigger frame and could arguably fight up a weight class. As far as avg. Height in the MW division and listing its not super viable DC has been listed at 6ft at times. I'm just going off what I've seen in faceoffs and in cage David branch, hermanson, Brunson, whittaker, vettori, he's given up height to all of them and probably weighed in a little smaller than half of them the only guy he had a physical adv from the eye test was Kelvin. It's a testament to Jared and him becoming discipline to make a change to fight in a weight class that doesn't require much for him to make weight he probably always stays ready so he probably doesn't get over 220.
