I’ve watched just about every Jolene cover out there, and I’ve concluded that this has to be the best one. Rebecca’s voice just adds so much emotion, and everyone knows that Megan can make any song haunting with her slide. This just has everything it needs to be an amazing cover.

A thing of beauty when Rebecca smiled as Megan hits that sweet lick during the solo.

This may sound over dramatic, but this literally brought tears to my eyes it's just that good.

Been depressed for a while and this quarantine stuff doesn't help at all. I'm a musician, and I'm into lots of different styles of music, from prog rock and really heavy stuff to the funkiest, jazziest most fusioned stuff. I was growing concerned that I was gradually ceasing to enjoy listening to music. This is the first time I've felt chills in a long time, this warmed my heart and made me cry a little. Thanks for this, it's just perfect.

These wonderfully talented young women just get better and better. The way they interperate music is amazing ,and the soul (and musicianship) on display is Phenomenal ! Please never stop. X

I've listened to this at least a dozen times. This is slowly becoming one of my favorite Larkin Poe covers.

I grew up with Junior Brown, Bob Wills, and Ernest Tubb Steel!! You are keeping the Steel alive as a viable and beautiful instrument. Good steel always gave me goose pimples and that's what I get from almost every song you all do. Thank you for your music!!!

These girls just popped up in my feed, never heard of them. After an hour of listening to them on youtube and some fortuitous tour scheduling, i'm booked to go see them in London May 7th. Can't wait.

Two very talented people who have found and can share the joy of making music...

I feel a real connection in our interpretation of music. My awesome father influenced me strongly, he was the black sheep of his family and was the only one to get a guitar and promise to make a life with it. And holy hell didn’t he just! I grew up hearing his music all around the house and it just permeated my childhood. To others in the household it was just like “yeah he’s just making noise again” but to me I heard something different, I heard melodies, feelings, I heard the music. And so, when the time was right, I got myself a beat up old guitar and, well, the rest is history. Years later, me and dad still jam out and, just like you two sisters, having that family connection gives us this kind of knowing of each other’s musical ways, often while making music together we only need to look at each other to know what the other is thinking or where one of us is going to take the music next. It’s something I am so blessed with. You girls are fantastic, never ever stop. My singing voice is like the air I breathe, and my guitars are like a limb that I feel naked and empty without.

Three minutes and 29 seconds can appear so short when the music is so good.

No lying but this has to be my favourite cover and very possibly the best cover on YTB apart from Dolly Parton's original version, no fancy stuff just unadorned guitar tones and powerful singing like really feeling the emotion behind lyrics, moved me so deeply, best cover heard ever!!!!

Jolene, was written how it was, because there had been several “I’ll kick your ass if you try” songs by other artists, and Dollie wanted a different perspective. Thanks for respecting the song, unlike another artist who didn’t.

I would vote for a "Tip o' the Hat" album. Just as unpolished and honest as those songs are recorded. Not always the best sound possible but definitly the best vibes.
