I remember in the weekends my dad and i would go out to eat at our favorite pizza place and afterwards he would take me to the dollar store, give me a $5 budget but i could only get one item(i would just spend $1). Over the years i got smart and figured out he was lowballing me with the other $4. I started getting 3 items and eventually my budget increased. It’s been 3 yrs since my dad passed away & sometimes i wish i could go back to these moments when i had everything without even knowing it.

The Christmas energy you and your videos give off remind me so much of my mother. She passed in June of this year. I'm not fishing for sympathy, I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. I used to get really depressed during the holidays but I really want to do these DIYs because I know my mom would have loved them.

To all that have commented, thank you for all the support. And, I'm sorry for all of your losses as well. This year has been a kick in the face for all of us. But remembering the ones we've lost in our hearts will keep them alive. Remember them, pour a drink for them, send an I love you on the wind, do what you have to do. Wherever they are, they still love us. 💜💔😊

I've been shopping at The 💵 Dollar Tree🌳 for 22 years! When I moved out on my own, into my first apartment at 18, my boss suggested this wonderful place🤗! I don't know how long they been business, but this was the first I had heard of DT. I was so excited to stock my new place with much needed items like; cleaning products/ tools, rubber gloves, disposable cleaning cloths, trash cans, dish drainer/mat & other necessities such as; spices, baking soda, Kleenex, paper towels, toilet bowl brushes, shower curtain liners/tub mat. I also got things like candles, carpet powder, potpourri, & storage containers. It was absolutely a fantastic way to make my place feel like a home! I was able to get the things I needed to complete my space on a BUDGET😍! The actresses that. I had heard of the product "LA's Awesome" spray cleaner... what a gem, & I've been using it ever since! Once I started shopping there I was definitely hooked LOL!!! PS Kallie I LOVE your videos & never miss watching TYVM!

We have shopped Dollar Tree for close to 20 years. When my children were young, money was tight. I have them each $20 and they Christmas shopped at DT. They bought for their Dad and I, both sets of Grandparents, teachers, etc. It was fun to see how they chose gifts that fit each person perfectly. For example, my mother-in-law loved to bake and my daughter bought her a pretty pot holder. My Mom loved birds and my son chose a ceramic cardinal for her. Both grandfathers got something from the tool section, etc. It gave them joy to shop themselves and helped my budget tremendously.

I shopped as a kid but only rediscovered it about four years ago. First, to find cheap holiday decor for my classroom and then when I started making wreaths and other crafts, I was blown away by all the KZread videos using DT for supplies. I first saw Do it on a Dime KZread channel use DT extensively. Also, tree upside down as a swag is GENIUS!!

I have been shopping at Dollar Tree for almost 15 years. I started buying large quantities for my classroom. I have been a hostess for my Women's Club. Every season I bought decorations to decorate the clubhouse and tables. I like your tablescape and the new placemats. One thing, glasses go on the right with knife and spoon. I love listening to your videos. Your wisdom is outstanding for such a young lady. Happy Holidays :- )

Been shopping at the dollar tree so long I can't remember how long. :) A mother with her two little girls were shopping while I was there. She told them grab a basket, you have 20$ to pick gifts. And the girls were sooo excited! It reminded me of going with my mom. Just thought I'd share that. Its a tough year for everyone, and this just reminded me it's the little things in life. They help me keep my head up! Happy holidays to all!

I discovered Dollar Tree in the early 2000's when I was a young newlywed and we were stationed in Hampton Roads, Virginia. There was a tiny & crowded little store within walking distance from our condo that I loved visiting for cute finds. A while later, a fellow Navy wife took me to the biggest DT store I have ever visited and I remember thinking that it was better than visiting Disney World 😄. It was located in Chesapeake.

I still remember my first ever trip to the Dollar Tree. Counting back...probably 17 or 18 years ago, just out of college, it was next to an Albertson’s grocery store. I had time to kill, so I stopped in purely out of curiosity, no real expectations. I found SO MANY TREASURES!! I picked up a gift-type book from a favorite author and couldn’t even believe that it was only one dollar! As I checked out, still in disbelief, I asked rhetorically, “How is this a dollar?!” Apparently not accustomed to this reaction, the cashier blinked and said flatly, “because everything’s a dollar.” 😂

I've been a late-comer to the Dollar Tree. Not until one opened up in my neighborhood about four years ago was I a regular shopper. Now I can't stay away. I'm floored--and annoyed--at how you can buy items for a dollar that are at least $3, $4, $5 or more at other "discount" stores. I love the window clings on the candles, plate and signs. How genius! And the swag on the front door is perfect. Gotta go to Dollar Tree today.

I found the dollar tree only a year ago 😂😂 I was planning my grandsons baby shower. A coworker told me to get supplies there. When I kept asking the girl that worked there how much this or that was. Finally she said “Hey everything is only a dollar” 😂😂😂 I’ve been to family dollar and .99 store and that wasn’t the case 🤷🏼‍♀️ I should add, now I do pop by there every now and then. Some deals you just can’t pass up.

I've been shopping at Dollar Tree since I was a kid. It was my first job when I was a senior in high school. I worked there for 5.5 years, went from cashier to Assistant Manager, and was very sad when they closed that location and it ended my time with DT (the location they could transfer me to was too far away for me). It was by far my fave job I ever had. 😁 Also, I totally thought of doing the rope wrapped tree collar just the other day! Great minds....lol I have always used a tree skirt but I keep seeing people using these tree collars and I knew I could make something way cheaper using DT stuff. Yours turned out great! These were all great ideas! I am always amazed at how many things at Dollar Tree just seem to fit perfectly with something else. I've been shopping there for at least 11 years. I absolutely love those basket bags. Been making chocolates gift boxes for years with them. Dollar tree is definitely childhood nostalgia for me too. Shopped there my whole life.

I’ve been shopping at the Dollar Tree since I was little! My grandmother used to let my brother and I go crazy in the toy section. 10 toys a piece seems like SO much to a kid, but my grandmother only had to shell out 20 + tax. She also would give us each $10 near Christmas so that we could buy everyone in our family a Christmas present. It taught us the power of gift giving while not breaking anyone’s bank!

I lived in Clemson, SC for a few years and my first job there was at Dollar tree. That was only in 2019. Now here in Cali I was so happy and surprised to see DT. I love it no matter what state I'm in!

I don't remember when I started going to Dollar Tree. I do remember taking my grandsons to Dollar Tree and giving them a couple of dollars and they loved it. They would look at everything before they bought something. Some of the things they got were interesting to say the least. My grandsons are adults now but I love this memory of them and Grammie shopping together.

There wasn't a dollar tree in Texas when I was a kid. The earliest I can remember dt was when I was 10 or 11, now I'm 31, my grandma was so excited when one opened near us because she came from Indiana and used to shop at dt all the time. Video ideas: DT window cling diy, blow dryer hacks.

I've been shopping @ dollar tree for about ten years. I went as a kid with my mom and it was ok, but once I got my own apartment, I realize I could set up an entire kitchen under 20 bucks. That's when I fell in love lol

Good Evening to all! Nice video and lovely ideas! I've been shopping at Dollar Tree stores since they opened in Texas thats been about 20 or 21 years ago. Throughout the years they've upgraded and now sell refrigerated and frozen groceries. I pretty much do alot of my grocery shopping there amongst other stuff. I hate large crowds at local grocery chains. I been hooked for years and now my kids are too. Whenever we seem to need something their response is $ tree has it. We jokingly call it Green Tree.... cuz green means go and for $1.00 you cant go wrong. On the norm I an easily spend $100.00+ on any given day.

Since college! The dollar tree near my hometown was not great, but introduced during college for sorority parties and decor. Now the dollar tree where I live now is great and I find tons of great stuff there. True that not all dollar trees are the same and that makes a difference.

Great hacks! Ive been shopping DT for at least 20 years! Remember if you modpodge clings , etc. onto plates, platters, it is not food safe! Use the food safe modgepodge ONLY! They do make it! They also have sparkle modgepodge this year! Friend of mine loves it for Christmas/ Winter! TFS!⚘

No telling how many clings I’ve passed up over YEARS that were so cute, but I’d never use for windows. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anddd I thought I had a “think outside the box” creative/crafty mind - 😂. That’s why I appreciate your hack videos, and for sharing the DIY love ❤️ TY. subscribed too Finally. 🙌🏼... kept forgetting and just saving or liking.
