Got mine tuned to used tow haul mode and it feels better than manually shifting down and was faster in the track

The stall is what woke that thing up. You need to get you some hp tuners. You can adjust them shift points super easy

@@ErikRose_ that’s what I’m saying tho bro, if you had hptuners, you could be shaving time off your ET’s right now! You won’t see any gains from mods you’ve done if you’re still running your first dyno tune! Every mod requires tune adjustments for their to be any gains what so ever.

Ahh ok got ya, yea we definitely need to invest in it. We were about to pick one up for the segment swap but our boy helped us out. But nonetheless it’ll still come in handy like you said for the shift points and other small adjustments it will need with future stuff and new projects. Anyways appreciate the advice and support bro she’s coming along 🤙

Build the diff bro.. changed the whole truck I got a 2002 single cab with a 6.0 built diff notched frame on ethanol. Spins tires at 30mph

@@ErikRose_ yes the stall , i seen one guy advising you to make sure it had lock up during the test drive or else the swap was gonna be done for no reason, but i couldn’t tell through out the video, but thank you for letting me know, i am looking into doing the same with the help of your videos thanks bro !

A 4l60 or 4l65 would’ve done a 5.3 just right just cause 80 don’t mean better for street truck

U are partially correct, the 60/65e is better for all motor builds but the 80e is far superior when it is in a boosted application

@@ErikRose_yea still would go 4l80e regardless I’ve smoked a few 4l60s behind I 5.3 with just heads and intake I built a 60 it’s held up but imma still go 4l80 matted to the ls3 going in
