Weird cuz I’m diagnosed with severe generalized anxiety disorder and depression from my doctor and my dog has also been diagnosed with anxiety by her vet and I hate it because I would never wish that on her and I try so hard to make it better for her.....she gets calming treats daily

Bro. How’s your dog got anxiety, the thing literally just eats, sleeps, and poops.

I always knew my dog was suicidal....

I adopted my beagle from a shelter because I thought it was a responsible thing to do. Some days he was really mellow while other days he would be nervous and pace back and forth all night and mumble to himself. He would also suddenly cry uncontrollably only to suddenly stop and begin laughing hysterically. Then he started staying out all night and really letting himself go. It wasn't until I found out that his previous owner had a multiple personality disorder. It really explained a lot. However, as soon as his behavior started to turn to that of a criminal nature I could no longer look the other way. It was very sad because, overall, he was a good boy.

Beagles are extremely hard to train. My next door neighbor growing up had a beagle that would always escape and you had to go find him because they don’t come back . My aunt got a beagle from a shelter and same thing . Escape. Scour neighborhood. Find dog. Escape again. I have had a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Saint Bernard and none of them were close to that behavior. My shepherd would go take a walk around the block and come back and sit on the porch, Golden Retriever would go for “walks” and even bring back “gifts” but always came back even when he was blind. My Saint doesn’t even leave the property line. People get beagles thinking they are cute but not realizing they are extremely inbred and add that to extremely difficult to train and they get out and “follow a scent “ and won’t come back on their own like most dog’s. That’s why shelters are full of them and pit bulls. And a lot of animal testing is done on beagles also.

Sarcastic Klutz my cats 🐈 are dogs 🐕 They love their belly’s rubbed. They sit for treats. And try to growl on occasion. I’m not sure if it’s because I raised them with my dogs when they were kittens.

who on earth did this study? I hope government funding was not used! People who have fur babys have known for a super long time that their pet mimics their own personality What a silly waste of time and funds smh

Dogs don’t have personalities because they aren’t humans. We give them personalities in what we think they are thinking. They are animals and go mainly off instinct.
