I never was an animal person. I didn't want a dog living with us but my kids and wife begged me. Majority rules so we got one. We had Coco for over a year now and she's my best friend and I always think about her while I'm at work lol

I’m literally watching this with my dog, Nikko, and I have cookies out, and he’s leaning on me, yawned when I yawn, I’m petting his head, he stares at me constantly and always sleeps with me. He does have severe separation anxiety, which we are working on. He was a rescue but he rescued me. Truly!❤️ and if I kinda dog bark “I Wuv You Mama” at him he mocks me! He’s been posted on Facebook and he told me that on my birthday, Saturday the 30th, in the morning like he knew it was my birthday when I woke up! He Also knows when I’m about to have a seizure. He goes in circles and sits. And he licks me. He knew when I had a deadly heart problem and was in a fibrillation because he would lick my chest and lay his head or paw on my chest, like “Mom go to the hospital!! This is bad!!” He’s an American Staffordshire terroir mixed with Mastiff. To most, he’s a big scary looking dog, but to me, he’s my everything!❤️

In Greece we have a saying "I met humans and I loved animals" this says a lot especially for our dear doggos

I agree with this. I was always frowning and with poker face everytime I go outside to meet people and to work because I don't like to be with people. Even their presence is making me stressed. I'm not myself and being true to myself when I'm outside. I don't feel relaxed and happy. But when I always go home with my two little babies Coco and Bella, I was energized and filled with joy. I can be myself again. To cuddle and kiss them and they will return it with lovely cuddles and lick. I love it. I hate my depression and social anxiety disorder. And my dogs are my antidote for this toxic mess I have in my brain..

I Loved Dogs when I was a Child but my early adulthood I wasn't into owning a animal. However now I'm old I got a small dog and couldn't see my life without him for he brings me as much joy as I bring him. He goes almost everywhere I go and we both get separation anxiety when we can't be together.

When I get home my dog sits down lifting her front legs. She waits for me to bend down n then places each front leg on each of my shoulders giving me a hug. I love her so very much n feel so blessed to have my dog.

We take dogs for granted, they are truly amazing animals

Three years ago, I lost my best friend. Bailey, a beagle mix, he died on the operating table. I got to see him for a little bit while they were prepping. The doctor told me that he noticed a spike in his health once he saw me and I got to spend some time with him. After I left it dropped and he died. Three years later and I'm still heartbroken.

Vets say it is best for the dogs to see their owner during operations (if possible) or especially if being put down. Imagine being in the most pain ever and you are surrounded by complete strangers rather than the person/people you love the most being there to help you feel calmer...

My dog, Shiloh, died December 24 just a few days ago. It hurts more knowing that she didn’t even make it till Christmas, and especially when it’s supposed to be a joyful season. Instead, it turned into a horrible nightmare. She brought peace into our family and brought us closer together (as we were distant towards each other), just like the meaning behind her name (Shiloh means peace in Hebrew). I even thought of naming her Shiloh and coincidentally (or not) my brother already decided to name her that without even knowing that I wanted it as her name too. I believe she was a gift from God. And it’s like a part of me died along with her, but I hope to see her again and getting lots of belly rubs from God

Wow man, I also had a beagle named bailey who passed. He lived 15 years which is around 3/4 of my life. He just lost all of his energy and wanst living the quality of life. I am just happy of all the funny memories he gave me throughout my life.

A stray Lab I named itchy saved me from the deepest darkest times of my life. He truly was a savior.

I dont have children, but my talking with my mother and friends over the years, I know that I love my dogs just as much as a child. The love I have for my dogs and what I’d give to see them happy is equal to what my mother says about me. I’d die for my dogs in a heartbeat, and being away from them too long physically hurts me! They are our family and our best friends, I am blessed to have my dogs, I’d be completely lost without them

When i adopted my pittie from the shelter it took a ling time before she let me pet her head. Shecwas unfortunately extremely abused,horrific things were done to her. Surprisingly she was immediately affectionate and loved cuddles and sleeping with me though. One day we were sitting together and i realized i had been absent mindedly petting her head with no issues ever since. It made me get teary eyed and i feel so blessed she trusts me completely now!

I had rescued a pittie at one point that was also abused on so many levels. Theyre super sweet dogs and incredibly loyal if you treat them with love. I miss her a lot, we had to put her to sleep earlier this year because she got old and had some rough health issues that made her miserable.

Dogs are a lot smarter than they get credit for many times. My Catahoula hound Jakie, knows when I'm feeling really down and in tears. He looks me right in the eyes with a very expressive look, like what's wrong mum. He then simply jumps up and puts his front paws on my shoulders and licks my face with tears and all. That is a very special dog to care so much that he'd want to lick up my tears. Not even people's partners will comfort them in times of need.

@@elizabethgardner5950 Yep. I've seen some sort of study a few years ago which seemed fairly serious about which animals are the smartest on Earth, and I think dogs (or maybe some specific ones? I don't remember the details) were somewhere along the lines of the 9th to 11th smartest animal on the planet? If I recall correctly. Don't quote me on that, lol. Dogs are awesome.

I just lost my dog August of last year. I still miss him! Just watching this video gives me a feeling of such sweet sorrow! The fact that he showed me this affection. Proven he loved me just as much as I loved him & that it hurts knowing I won't see him show me this affection anymore! I miss you, Honeycomb! The sweetest pitbull in the world!

I grew up with Pitts, but in 1993 I received the first of five amazing Guide Dogs. They have all been female labradors, four yellow, and one black. They are all amazing. They show their love for me by keeping me safe when we are out and about. Nothing is sweeter.

Also, if a dog rolls onto their back near you, it shows trust. It’s because when they do that, they are exposing their belly, including their vital organs. When they roll onto their back near you, you know that they love and trust you. Also if they sleep near you or close their eyes in general. Both of these show that your dog feels comfortable around you and safe.

So I found out that my dog likes to be in my hoodie with me today and so I had it off and my little brothers tried to put her in theirs and she was biting and scratching but I went out there with my hoodie on and put her in it and she fell right asleep.

My dogs are always with me, following me around, sleeping, etc., And go crazy when I return home. I love them more than most people

Every morning when waking up, my dog will hop on my chest and start cradling his head into my neck for morning cuddles. Then I get face kisses. I’m going through a dark time in my life but he adds some light and I don’t know what I’d do without him. He’s my legit best friend. I love to celebrate his birthday every year(he’s adopted so we celebrate his “adoption anniversary” as his birthday). He’s my little man 💕

My best friend is a dog and she becomes crazily happy when I come to visit her. Her joy is contagious. She forgets everything else and goes around and around the house with tail swinging and toy in her mouth and wants my unconditional attention. When I pet her she licks my arm for the return. She wants me to be the one who takes the leash when we go for a walk, othervice she can become difficult but is so calm and obedient walking next to me when I'm around lol. The owner says she is never that way with other people, alltho friendly she is for most people but we have special bond.

I give my minibernedoodle permission one hour before get up time to get into our bed.... best snuggle hour ever! Sleeps on futon beside our bed......our sharpie that passed away had her own room...we miss her so much...so our minibernedoodle gets overly spoiled! Guessing we will let her sneak into our bed a few hours early often.... lol....yep...no regrets... just a little tired! Lol!

My Puppy did all those things and expressed his love to me. I miss him so much, I wish he never ever left us. We lost him to Parvovirus recently.

all of the above!! We gave our puppy a crazy amount of attention and love and it's rally paid off. We have a great dog!

I’m so happy because my baby does everything mentioned on this video! I am so blessed 😀

Shout out to my beloved dog

On this last May 4th. I had to put my 15 year old little Sassy down . I cry every day as i miss my baby girl soooo much. Im a grown man and my Sassy for me ? Was the pet and companion of a lifetime. I miss her so much, i wish i could keep her forever. I know she is no longer suffering amd struggling to breathe she suffered with congestive heart failure and level 4 heart murmur but while getting oxygen on the night i lost her she also suffered a cardiac arrest. I love that girl so much and now my life is empty without her greeting me every day that i walk in . Or kisses and snuggles she was such a pretty girl to me. R.I.P. my little girl Sassy . I love you Sassy.

My 14 year old golden retriever passed away in his sleep on May 1st, 2019. I feel your pain. It's so hard to lose a beloved dog. They are family. I'm just glad I didn't have to put him down. I can only imagine how hard that was for you. I'm sure it was like a death march. ❤️

vincent parlante So sorry for you. I had to have my beloved JackJack put to sleep a while back. He had kidney failure, he wasn’t suffering at the time but was going downhill. So, as I couldn’t bear the thought of him being in pain and being distressed we took him to the vets. He also had arthritis in his spine and movement was becoming restricted. It’s the last act of love. He was seventeen and had a good, good life. I now have another one, same breed, American Eskimo, she’s cute beyond words, but naughty, she’ll calm down in a few tears I’m told. I had the old one cremated and his ashes rest next to my late husband’s. They were great pals.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

You're not crazy, yawning can be kinda contagious. You know, like laughing or crying.

Idk what to believe.Some say that making direct eye contact improves relationship with dog while some say if you make direct eye contact then your dog feels threatened from you.

Crying again. Had to put my dear Auztralisn cattle dig to sleep about two years ago. I was with him to his last breath. We loved each other - he walked up to me and followed me home, insisted he wanted to live with me and my other two dogs. Then we were four.

LOL, I don't have to come home late. My 2 labs and I get yelled at by my fiance for being to loud and crazy every day when i get home. The only time they calmly let me leave the house is in the mornings when i go to work, any other time they aren't happy i'm leaving.

My Sadie always brings her toys to us, sleeps with us & cuddles. She is so excited to see us that she whines for two minutes & finally when we leave, she purposely will not look at us. 😊😍🐶

No family is complete without a Dog. But this means for life & NEVER as a token ! All children should be brought up with a Dogs unconditional love & companionship.

My dog used to give me nose nudges if she saw I was sad. Once we accidentally left outside the house. Instead running away she laid by the door until we opened again. She also used to put her paw on my hand. She did a lot of the other stuff in the video, but she gone for a few years now. It is hard to remember all the ways she reassured me, but the whole family knew she loved us. She was even protective of me around my sister. She wasn't allowed on the bed, but it was because she really baths. She learned how to spell the word.

I live with roommates and they have all told me that she doesn't allow them to pet her.. shes friendly to them but they love how she only fully trusts me.. she gets excited when they get home but when I get home she just walks up to me and leans into me... love that...

I love dogs! I wish everyone knew how loving they are.

Every time I come back, my Shih-Tzu of 10 years since pup jumps on the bed for our usual cuddle to say hi. She's always so excited for it. It's a very special time.

My family had a black lab named brandy, born less than 2 years before me. Slept with me almost every single night like clockwork, from the day I was born to the day she passed. When she was a pup, I would often wake up to her painting my face with her tongue, and bouncing all over the bed like she was on red bull. She was careful and gentle, but VERY playful and energetic. I always woke up with a laugh and a smile. When I would come home from school, if the weather was nice, I'd grab a blanket and some homework or a book and get comfortable under the pine tree that grew in our backyard. She would always come cuddle up with me, often just laying on top of me. Both of us just cuddling and soaking up the sun, we would often fall asleep out there. So peaceful. So beautiful.
