SUMMARY:
- It was just another ordinary day - I woke my humans up, had breakfast, and was about to take a nap when my best friend in the world, Jenny, said that we have to go.
- As I started sniffing around and looking for a fun stick to play with, Jenny jumped back in the car and quickly drove away.
- At that moment I realized that I should probably go back home on my own, so I started walking. It was getting even darker and colder, and I was really hungry.
- Some of the humans just gave me a weird look and walked around me, others tried to pet me - I felt so scared and overwhelmed by the whole thing that I ran and hid in the first alley I could find!
- To be honest, that was the most awful feeling in the world, and these two knew exactly how I felt. How could people we loved so much betray us like that?
- Me, Rocky, and Oscar became best friends. Every morning every single one of us went in different directions to find something good like food or something to keep us warm at night.
- One of our favorite spots to check for food was outside this little diner. Jenny and Michael sometimes went to places like that. One day a human lady noticed me waiting in the corner as she was throwing out some food.
- I kept going back to that diner, and I found out that this lady was named Alison and she was a cook there.
- One day, she looked at me and asked “Listen, buddy. Would you like to come live with me? You look like you really need a home.”
- Alison and I live in the same neighborhood as the alley I spent my nights in, so I sometimes see my old buddies, Rocky and Oscar. Unfortunately, they’re still out on the streets because they haven't met their Alison yet.

I have rescued many animals on the street and they were my pets for life. I recently rescued a baby kitten. He was in horrible condition but we nursed him back to life and he is growing into a most beautiful cat. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and I can't ever imagine why anyone could hurt these wonderful gifts of life. I have always had a dream of getting a lot of property and having all the stray animals come live with me. It hasn't come true but I wish it could.
For dog lovers...its just either extremely sad or depressing...... But,good thing it had an happy ending,sort of. (Thanks for the 40 likes!)

I am a cat lover...One day i went to throw the trash and i heard a cry. It was a puppy. We went to the vet and his back was injured. We stayed together,against all odds, for five years. It's a human thing.Not a dog's lover thing

So even though REMMINGTON had been thrown away, he trusted me enough when I stopped to come to me. He was so scared though after being dumped, that he yelped in fear when I reached down to touch him... That was months ago. NOW ~~ REMMINGTON will NEVER be homeless again.... sigh... This story MAKES ME CRY.... years ago I adopted a dog named Charlie... he'd been a thrown away dog also....
if you see somebody taking care of many pets because they don't have a many children and it's easier to take care of dogs and cats or others

Hi guys again. 7 days ago we had to put our beloved 11 year old cat down. That was devastating for me. He had ketones. I held him for at least 45 standing up. I was crying so much. I didn't want to let him go. I wanted him to come home with me. It's still hard sometimes. He is a huge missing piece of our puzzle.

My dog was found in the middle of the street chasing after his old owners' car after they dropped him in the road. My mom went later that day to pick him up. Love you Roscoe ❤

People have abandoned cats where I live we took them in but we had to put them out we couldn’t afford to take care of them

My neighbor got a cat and I help them and oh ya there are 4 baby's 1 mother 1 is 1 gold 2 calico I played with fine a comfortable home😇♥️😻😽😚😁🐱😼👍. oh hehe I forgot to say I feed them to and I LOVE THEM
